• Start creating a card base from Ultra Premium White cardstock.
• Stamp image from "Elements 2" set  in Memento Tuxedo Black.
• Color image with Spectrum Noir and Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers 
• Spectrum Noir Markers:
• BT1, BT2, BT3, BT4
• LG1, LG2, LG3
• TN1, TN2
• OR1, OR2
• Spectrum Noir Illustrator:
• AP1 Pink Lace.
• AP3 Vintage Pink.
• CT3 Canary.
• After image is colored, add Clear Crystal Sparkle marker.
• Stamp sentiment from Hello Beautiful set.
• Finally, add little dots of Ruby Red Liquid Pearl.

Hello beautiful

My Sweet Petunia and Gina K. Designs Blog Hop

Hello friends! Welcome to another fun collaboration blog hop between Gina K. Designs and My Sweet Petunia!
For today, I have a couple of projects for you, showcasing products from both companies, I have to confess this is my first time stamping since I came back from Peru! (BTW, the craft room is clean and organized now) and it felt really good!

So, let's get started. First I should say I received the Boho Flowers Mini Kit and it is so pretty!

• First I stamped the images on a piece of White Layering Cardstock and my Original MISTI. As you see, I stamped all the images from the set in Memento Tuxedo Black.

• Then, I colored the images with Spectrum Noir Markers, here I used LG1, LG3, DG1, DG2, CG2, PP1, PP2, PP3, PP4, PP5, PP6, BT1, BT4, BT5. Then I added a little bit of Clear and Rose Quartz Spectrum Noir Sparkle.

• For the background I used the Rounded Swirl Stencil to dry emboss the Lovely Lavender cardstock. I die-cut the pieces and added them to the embossed panel. Sentiment stamped and die-cut as well! I added few little drops of Silver Liquid Pearls.

• For my second card, I stamped the images on a piece of watercolor paper in Versamark Watermark ink, added white embossing powder and heat set the images. Then, I colored them with Spectrum Aqua Markers, here I used: Blossom, Begonia, Leaf Green, Aquamarine. After the images were dried, I die-cut them using the coordinated dies.

•  For the front of the card, I used the stencil again, this time with Metallic Silver Embossing Paste and just in the lower corner area. Set aside to dry and then added the die-cut elements.

• Here it is a view of the pieces added to the card.

My Sweet Petunia and Gina K. Designs Blog Hop

Let's Party!

Hello friends!! Happy Monday to you all. Sharing a quick and sparkly birthday card. For this project I used this fun set from Crafter's Companion "Party Time" and colored it with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens. The patterned paper is from Birthday Party Collection.
AS you can see this is a  very easy card, a lot of fun coloring and who doesn't love cupcakes?! Change the sentiment and make it a "Have a sweet day" card ;)

Let's Party!

Cupcake anyone?

Hello friends! Hope you all had a great Valentine's Day, celebrating love and friendship. My husband and I went to a super fun and delicious dinner at our church, my daughter got some shopping done and Sunday was pretty quiet, husband needed to finish a lot of homework, so I relaxed and took a nap ;)

So for today I have a super cute cupcake box, which I decorated with this super cute cupcake image and colored it with the new Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens, so here are the details:

• Trace the Cupcake Favor Box on a polka dot paper from Polka Dots and Gingham Paper Pack, then cut it out and put it together. Decorate it with ribbon and twine.
• Stamp cupcake image from  Party Time stamp set on a piece of watercolor paper in JetBlack StazOn ink.
• Color image with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens: Spectrum Noir Sparkle: Smoke Quartz, Rose Quartz, Solar Red, Crystal Clear, Red Berry, Pink Garnet.
• Cut out cupcake and add it to side of the box.

Cupcake anyone?

Hello Baby

Hello friends!! Thursday is here!! I have a baby card for you today. I have a friend who just had a baby boy and I am planning to send her this card.

I used the sketch  #39 from Sugar Pea Designs, but you can check out the new sketch as well, this is a monthly challenge, I want to play the new sketch too, they help with my mojo ;)

This cute image is from "Bundle of Joy" set, I stamped part of the sentiment  and used the Baby die from "Baby Diaper Pin" die-cut set.
The image was stamped on a piece of watercolor paper in JetBlack StazOn ink and colored Spectrum Aqua Markers. I die-cut the "Baby" piece from a leftover panel of Ultramarine Color Burst. I used Green Envy Shimmering cardstock to cut the green thin lines. The cloud is also a leftover piece. Added stitches and added to a A2 card base.

Hello Baby

Merry Christmas

Hello friends! Happy Tuesday to you all! Hope you are starting a great week. Today I want to show you another Christmas card, love this set from Crafter's Companion "Christmas visitors"
For this project I used the sketch from "Viva la Verve"

Here are the details:

• Make card base from White Cardstock. A2 size.
• Cut a panel from White cardstock (4.75" x 3.4"), dry emboss it with Scandinavian Village folder (I used the top part). Adhere behind the panel a piece of Candy Red Shimmering cardstock (4.25" x 3.75")
• Die-cut a banner from patterned paper.
• Stamp bird and berry leaves on white cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black. Color them with Spectrum Noir Markers:
• Bird: TN1, TN3, CR2, CR3, CR5, CR6, CR9, FS6
• Berries: LG2, LG3, LG5, DG2, DG4, CR3, CR7, CR8
• Die-cut image, cut out leaves. Add them to card panel.
• Tie on red ribbon and make a bow.
• Stamp sentiment from "Merry Christmas Deer" in Memento Tuxedo Black and add it to card.

Merry Christmas

Happy B-day!

Hello friends! How are you all doing? Remember I told you about having sinus pressure and pain and such, well I finally got the COLD!! And no I am not happy about it because I usually get the cold/cough combo and since I suffer from asthma makes my situation not fun, but at least the pressure is GONE!! My tissue box is my best friend now.

Ok, so the project I have for you has a little story so I will make it short. I got invited to a birthday party for a sweet boy who I used to babysit, so of course I wanted to make a card for him, but since dealing with the sinus pain I did a little almost nothing of craft fun for almost a month, although I spent few nights coloring images, I colored this image in advance but I didn't have enough time to finish the card (Big BOO) so I bought a little card (HORROR), but this card in in the mail now and I hope he like it!!

He just turned 2 and he is the sweetest boy ever!! And this is the card I made for him (finally finished it) and already mailed! (Yay me)

Here are the details, I got inspired by the Mojo Monday Sketch:

• Make a card base from Light Blue cardstock. A2 size.
• Cut a panel from white cardstock, 3.75" x 5", cut coordinated pieces from patterned paper and adhere them to white panel. Add panel to card base.
• Stamp sentiment in StazOn Blue Hawaii ink, the sentiment is from Birthday Boy Set.
• Stamp image from Super Hero Stanley on white cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black, color image, here I used Spectrum Noir markers, these are the ones I used:
• Skin: FS1, FS2, FS3
• Hair: TN1, EB1, EB2, TN3
• Top and mask: BT1, BT2, BT3
• Pants: BT5, BT7
• Cape: BT3, BT4
• Star and Belt: GB5
• Shadow: IG2
• Die-cut, emboss and stencil image with rectangle dies. Adhere image to card base with foam adhesive.
• Die-cut star and number 2 and add it to image.
• Finally add sequins.

Happy Mother's Day! + Tutorial

Hello friends! Second post today, sharing with you a card I made last night just for fun! I have to confess that the mojo has left, but I hope it will come back soon, most of my projects have been done in advance, but last night I got an idea and tried it out and I loved the results!
I had in mind the CutCardStock challenge, to create or re-create a technique, so I thought that using a piece from a background die-cut to create a small window would be fun, so this is the process. I would love if you like this tutorial, would like my project HERE, just in the inklinz you can click "like" I will appreciate it very much.

So, let's get started.

• Start by die-cutting a piece of White cardstock using Top Dog Dies Flower Mosaic A2 Die.
  
   
  • Cut the bottom part of the die, as shown in the picture. Save this part for another project ;)
  
  
  
  
  
  • Cut a piece of white cardstock, 3.75" x 5". Using a circle die, die-cut and emboss piece to create a window.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  • Adhere the die-cut mosaic piece behind the window panel. 
  
  
  
  
  
  
  •  Mat window panel with a slightly bigger piece of yellow cardstock. Add straight stitches.
  
  
  
  
  • Die-cut a set of Top Dog Dies Pretty Petals Die Set (available tomorrow May 9th) and Top Dog Dies Wildflower Die in white cardstock and color them with markers, here I used Spectrum Noir Markers. 
  
  
  
  
  
  •  This is the final result. I added a little pearl to the flower center and raspberry sequins. The sentiment was stamped in Coffee Archival Ink, and it is "Treasured Set" by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

Happy Mother's Day! + Tutorial

Fun, surprises and love!!

Hello friends! Hope you are having a wonderful day. Today I have a very cute card using a brand new set that will be released this Thursday! This set is from Latina Crafter and called "Birthday Girl". I kept the card super simple, but cute at the same time.

Here are the details:

• Create a card base from White cardstock using Top Dog Dies Signature Antique Die, die-cut also a piece of patterned paper and yellow cardstock to decorate the front of the label card.
• Add pieces to front, add white lace and twine.
• Stamp image on White cardstock, color image with markers, here I used Spectrum Noir Markers, die-cut, emboss and stencil piece with rectangle nestabilities. Mat piece with a purple piece.
• Add image to card base with dimensionals.
• Add crystal lacquer to balloons and hat, then sprinkle clear glitter.
• Stamp sentiment in Coffee Archival Ink.

Hello friends! Sorry for being MIA, I got a cold!! and this time sure made me feel really miserable. Anyways, I am feeling much better now, still having a funny voice, but feeling much better now, I can breath ;)

Today, I want to show you a card I made using a "soon-to-be-released" set from Latina Crafter, this is one set from the collection of Jennifer Nilsson.

Here are the details:

• Make card base from Teal Cardstock.
• Die-cut Madison doily from Patterned paper and adhere it to card.
• Stamp image on White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black, color image with markers, I used Spectrum Noir Markers, this is the list of markers I used:
• Dress: BT1, BT2.
• Apron: CR3, CR4, CR5
• Skin: FS2, CR2
• Hair: GB1, TN3, TN4
• Eyes: IG1
• Book: TN5
• Die-cut, emboss and stencil image with Rectangle Dies.
• Die-cut Vintage Banner from White cardstock, stamp border from Vintage Banner set in Coastal Cabana ink, stamp sentiment in Coffee Archival Ink.
• Add image and sentiment to card.
• Create bow from twine, adhere it to card, add a bitty button.
