Surprising Journey (Picture tutorial)

Hello friends! Hope you are having a fantastic day! Today, I am sharing with you a tutorial I made for eclectic Paperie, I used Twinkling H2O paints, but you can use any kind of paints you own.

Let's get started!

I started with a piece of Strathmore Mixed Media paper, cut the paper 9" x 9", then taped it to my mat with Blue Tape (painter's tape), the sides are 1" and the top/bottom are .75"

Added a couple of coats of White Acrylic Gesso

Then I started painted this piece with Luminarte Twinkling H2O African Jade, just one coat is enough.

Then I added paint strokes of Luminarte Twinkling H2O Rich Cobalt

and finally some of Twinkling H2O Olive Vine.

I added some Embossing paste using the Mini Chicken Wire reversed Stencil, but honestly I didn't like it, I removed it immediately with a baby wipe, but it left a really cool impression, ha! The things you discover from your mistakes. Then added few dabs using Snow Cap Acrylic Paint Dabber

I used an old stencil (no longer available, sorry) and White embossing paste in random places.

Then added White Gelatos in the center and a little bit around the edges,

Added Black Gelatos around the edges of the whole piece.

Then I took my Remant Rubs - Word (Tim Holtz), cut few pieces and added them on my piece.

Looks like this :)

And this is the final piece, without the blue tape, the picture doesn't show how shimmery this piece is, it's really beautiful!! I think I will put it in a picture frame to decorate my craft room :)

I hope you like it!!
Have a wonderful day.

XOXOXO Handbag

Hello friends!! Hope you are having a great day, whether you celebrate Valentine's Day or not, hope your day is a good one.

Today, I want to show you a quick and simple way to embellish your Z Becky Brown handbag. I used Ziva Sundance Kraft inserts, cut out Patterned Paper panels from Craft n Craftin' "Sweet Love", traced the panel onto the patterned paper then cut .5" from each side, cut a strip of the same paper but opposite side XOXOXO, matted them with a bigger piece of Kraft Cardstock, added Adhesive White lace. I painted wings and a heart with Metallic paint and added them to the center. I die-cut cute double hearts and arrows and added them to the sides. The final touch was adding lines around the edges with a White pen.

Hello beautiful!

Hello friends! This is my second post for today showing you a project I created with my new Top Dog Dies.
This card is super easy!!

Here are the details:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock. 10" x 5", scored at 5" and folded top.
  • Cut a panel from Strawberry Slash cardstock (4.5" square), add a small panel from patterned Paper and ad stitches.
  • Die-cut this cute and fun Isabella fan in Strawberry Slash Cardstock, score the line and gently fold them in opposite directions. Adhere fan to card panel. I used Crystal Lacquer, just added few lines of it on the score line and gently pressed to get the fan adhered to the paper.
  • Die-cut a Wildflower in White Cardstock, sponged all the leaves with Green Ink, leave the flowers in white to crate a contrast, adhere it to card panel, then add Ruby Liquid Pearls.
  • Die-cut a tag from Alexa set in White Cardstock, stamp sentiment in Red Ink, then adhere it to panel with dimensionals.
  • Then adhere panel to card base, finally add few sequins and voila!
