CPS Sketch: Sweet Bunny

Happy Thursday everyone, I hope you are having a great day. My day started early this morning, a cup of coffee, not work-out, feeling blue and sick, yikes!! So far I am surviving my day, DD made me a sandwich for lunch: Turkey and Peperoni, her favorite, not mive, but I was glad she made it for me.
Anyway, I decided to create even though I knew my Mojo was some where but here. I checked Card Positioning Systems Blog and decided I should play the sketch.
I used products from Mothers & Daughters Creations Store. I started my card with Kraft CS as my card base. I stitched together a piece of Pink Pirouette CS and a piece of SEI Lovebirds DP.Then I added Pink Passion CS underneath. The cute bunny is Sleeping Bunny - Serendipity. I colored the image with Watercolor Pencils and Markers, then I added some Stickles and Clear Crystals from Zva. The yummy riboon is Grosgrain Pink/Fucsia/Blue by May Arts. I added some green buttons from my stash.

Card Stock: Kraft, Pink Passion, Pink Pirouette, White.
Paper: Lovebirds by SEI.
Stamps: Sleeping Bunny by Serendipity.
Ink: Black.
Embellishments: May Arts Ribbon, Clear Crystals from Zva, Green buttons.
Accessories: Sewing machine, Pink thread, Watercolored pencils, Markers, SU Dimensionals, 3D foam-EK SUccess. Stickles.

Sketch Challenge and smART News!!

Hello my friends, today I am feeling a little bit better and I decided to play today's Sketch Challenge on SCS, this week skecth is really pretty, and I have more ideas for this sketch, LOL.

You are Special to me.

Hello ladies!! Today I am feeling a lot better than yesterday, I can breath better and I have more energy. Yesterday I didn't work out, but today I did!!! My friend Nicole and I are working out together 3 times per week, and we are doing great!! We are surviving with all the hard work from the Biggest Loser DVD, LOL. Anyway, today I played SCS Sketch Challenge. I had some material from my previous post and I decided to continue my work with the same stamp and papers, I hope you don't get bored :)

For my card I used smARTworks Tulip Square Set. I stamped the image 3 times, colored them with colored pencils and Markers, then applied some Diamond Stickles. Cut them out and position on top of the other panels. I zig zag the side panels and added some Yellow Dew Drops.

Ink: Stazon Black, Cranberry Crisp.

Peace and Love to you

Hi everyone, here I am still feeling sick, headaches, tiredness and not too much appetite, well maybe this is the only way to lose weight, LOL.
Anyway, this morning I played Sketch Challenge on SCS. I love my card, but my picture is not the best, I will try to take another one later.
The image and sentiment are from Cozy Winter Set by Serendipity. The Designed Paper is from Best Creations: Frosty Christmas .
The pretty ribbon is from Martha Stewart Collection, this ribbon is so soft and delicate I love it!! I colored the image with watercolor pencils and then embossed the roofs with white emboosing powder. I sponged the images with Chocolate chip Craft ink. I added a bit of Liquid Applique on the snow spots and also used my sewing machine around every image and the main panel.

Rejoice

Happy Wednesday everybody. Today is Sketch Challenge Day on SCS and I had some time to play. I really missed paying challenges, I used to do it everyday, but lately I don't have much time to play, anyway, I combined this challenge with 2 other challenges one is from Ashley's Brainwave Challenge using Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Kraft and Chocolate Chip, the other challenge is from the Wish Rak Group Card Contest Category #2 :Christmas card.

The image is from SU "A Christmas Cardinal" I got it last week during the "Share-athon" of Christmas images at my demos stamping party. I got really pretty images I don't own, super cool.

Be grateful

Hi everyone, how is everybody doing??? I have noticed that after a non-posting week all my visitors are gone {sad face insert}. Well if you are visiting me today, THANKS !!!! I am very grateful you stopped by today and I hope you like my card.
This card is for today's Sketch Challenge on SCS and also for MDC Challenge blog, the challenge for this week is to use "Stickles" I used it on my flowers.
This was a very quick card, it took me long to cut and color than put everything together.
I colored the images first, then I cut them out. To make the bouquet I added some Mini glue dots behind the images, then I added some ribbon. I added some Dimensionals and that's it.

Challenge cards

Hello everyone!! I am here, late, but here, LOL. I have been busy and I will be busy all this week and next week too. We are having VBS at church next week and I am preparing everything for the Craft time, I love it!!! Today after organizing the stuff for VBS I decided to make a couple of cards, yes!!!!
I have 3 cards to share with you :

MDC Challenge: This challenge was to use Bo Bunny Paper or Color Challenge, so I decided to go with the CC (I don't own any Bo Bunny Paper) Always Artichoke, Pumpkin Pie, Blue Bayou, Certainly Celery, and So Saffron

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Daisy Trio #1 smARTworks, SU Flower Garden (leaves)
Card Stock: Pumpkin Pie, Blue Bayou, Very Vanilla and So Saffron
Paper: So Saffron Series Collection.
Ink: True Thyme, Marigold Morning.
Embellishments: Clear Rhinestones, Gold brads, SU Certainly Celery double stitched ribbon, hodgepodge hardware,
Accessories: Dimensionals, mini glue dots.



SCS Sketch Challenge: This is my version of today's SC on SCS. I work with pastel colors. The card looks a lot better IRL.

Card stock: River Rock, Pink, White.
Paper: Infuse Salt BasicGrey.
Ink: Black, True Thyme (sponging), colored pencils, markers.

Wish Rak July Card Challenge: Another challenge in the Wish Rak group. This time using Sketch #149. I decided to make a Christmas card, never too early to start LOL.

Card stock: Real Red, Sage Shadow, White.
Paper: Flurries & frost (Deja Views)
Ink: Black, colored pencils, markers.

A flower for you

Hello everyone!!! I hope you are having a great day. Today is Sketch challenge day on SCS. I used a Tilda for this challenge, I love all the Magnolia images, they are really cute. I received this image through the Wish Rak group. I colored my image with colored pencils and markers. I used a scallop circle to create the clouds. The grass was created with a little stamps from Watercolor Minis set (retired).
I have to say that my picture is not the best, after 50 shots getting really bad pictures, I got this one that was the best, sorry, the card is a lot better IRL.

What an Embossing Day!!

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great day. Today here on the NW is beautiful, the weather is great, not too warm neither cold, it is perfect. I spent time outside with DD, she really wanted to go bike, so we did. She got to crazy, she biked for 1 hour , we stopped at my Demostrator's house because she wanted to say Hello, but she wasn't home. In our way back home she told me she was tired, I said you can still pedaling until we got home, she did, I was exhausted, yesterday we did the same, but for only half an hour. I came back home ready for lunch and a nap, LOL.
This morning I made 3 cards, yahooo. I used Embossing technique in all my cards. I really like the results, my pictures are not the best, my camera is getting old and maybe wants a day off, LOL. Anyway I hope you like them.

Bright Punched Vases

Hi again, I had some time to create another card when Becca was taking a nap.
I made this card for May Card Contest on the Wish Rak Group. I used Sketch #143 (SCS).
This time I used oval punches and no stamps!!!! I followed Michelle Zindorf's tutorial . You should give it a try, it is a really fun technique.

I don't own any flower punch, so I used Bride' flowers from Michael's and the little green Prima flowers. I colored the bride flowers using Yellow pigment.


Card Recipe:
Card stock: Green (non SU), Su Green Galore, Su Only Orange, SU Yo Yo Yellow, White (GP).
Ink: Yellow, Orange, Silver, Chocolate chip pigments.
Embellishments: SU ribbon, Bella baubles, Bride flowers, Prima flowers.
Accessories: SU dimensionals, double sided tape, SU mini glue dots, gold stickles.

Heart speak

Happy Wednesday everyone. Today I have a lot of yard work to do, I started last night and I am feeling a little bit tired already, but DH and I are cleaning the biggest part of our property that has lots of weeds, I hate weeds. We are dreaming one day we will have the most beautiful yard and why not a perfect garden too!!!!

Anyway, today on SCS is Sketch Challenge Day . I would say I tried the sketch with a completely different set and colors, but at the end I didn't like the results, so I tried again and I love this card. I hope you too.

I received this pretty image from the WR group , this is from SU Heartspeak set. I colored the basket using Sargent Art Colored Pencils, I used Tan, Orange and Brown. the flowers are colors with Red Orange, Red, Rose,Peach, Yellow and Pink, after that I over colored them with SU markers. The leaves are colored with Yellow Green.
I sponged the middle are and the diamond white CS with Orange pigment ink.
I added a couple of Bella Baubles in the right bottom corner.
The orange ribbon is from Walmart.

Pretty Hummingbird

Hello everyone, today is a really nice day here in the NW. Maybe I will go outside and do some light work on my yard.
Today on SCS is Sketch Challenge Day, pretty good sketch. I used an image I received through the Wish Rak group, the pretty hummingbird from Spring Song Set.
I colored the image using colored pencils and markers. I added some American Craft ribbon at the top (I realized after trimming my image it was too small , oopps). I put some dot glitter around the image.

Card Recipe:
Stamp: SU Spring Song.
Card stock: White (GP), SU Really Rusty, SU Old Olive.
Paper: MDC.
Ink: Black
Embellishments: Yellow Polka Ribbon (American Crafts).
Accessories: Yellow and green glitter glue, double sided tape.

Someone cares

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a great day, better than me.
I woke up at 2 am with a terrible headache, palpitations, I tried to go back to sleep, but my headache was getting worse, finally I got up, took an aspirin and I decided to watch TV. DH woke up at 5:30 and I heard he was looking for me, he went to the living room and asked me if I was OK, I said I feel better now, he wanted to stay home today, I told him I will call you if I need you, right now I am feeling super tired, I really want to go back to sleep, but I don't have anybody to watch Rebecca, so I suppose I will sleep when she takes her nap.

Hi, I am back again, I have another card to show you. I made this card for April Card Contest on the Wish Rak group on SCS, category #3 Sketch it, for this category the sketch chosen was SC110. I received the image and the brads through the group.

Hello everyone, I am feeling much better, a little bit more energy than yesterday, I hope soon I can say I am 100% new batteries, LOL, like Duracell. I am still getting tired, but doing more stuff around the house and stamping a little bit more.
