Christmas in April????

Today's challenge at SCS: Color Combination " Real Red, Glorious Green and Night of Navy" Interesting combination. I checked my Card stock pile and I didn't have Real Red nor Night of Navy. I am using very similar colors from another companies.
When I checked the colors for today's challenge Christmas came to my mind, so I decided to make a Christmas card.

"Happy Penguin"
For my card I folded in half my Similar Night of Navy Card stock, I cut a piece of similar Real red and I added a piece of White card stock and SU DP Cerise. I cut 2 strips of Glorious Green for the top ad bottom sides.
I colored my Elzybell Penguin with colored pencils and SU markers, the snowballs are colored in light blue and I added some Waterfall Stickles. The scarf is a piece of SU Cerise DP with some Gold stickles.
On my Glorious Green bottom piece I added some SU Moss Gingham Ribbon around. Three brads on the right bottom corner (red, blue and green). The upper piece of Glorious Green has 2 Clear Rhinestones. I put a Snowflake in green and white.

I Hope yopu like it.
God bless.

Snowflakes fall....

I woke up this morning a little bit later than usual, usually I am up at 5:30 am, so I can make breakfast for DH and pack his lunch, but today when I opened one eye LOL I checked the time and it was almost 6:00 am, I ran to the kitchen and I started my morning routine, of course I was planning to come back to bed after DH leaves for work, but DD got up at 6:15 am and since then I am up.
I just drank my cup of coffee and checked e-mails and of course today's challenge at SCS.
Today's challenge was to create a card using a window, (any kind) so I tried this little cut Elzybell.

I hope you like it!!!

Card recipe: Cardstock: SU Soft Sky, blue and pink, DP:Miss Elizabeth, Stamps: Elzybells, Ribbon: SU WHite, Snowflake paper, SU dimensionals.

Wishing you peace

Hello everyone, I've been absent for a couple of days, just spending some time with my family. My husband is feeling under the weather, so he was spending sometime on the computer (we have only 1, yesssss I want my own,LOL) I played with Rebecca and also we re-organized the playroom, even though it is a playroom, it was a big mess (I don't like mess in anyway), after that we played with her Thomas trail and train, yesss if you could see all the toys she has. Yesterday, we went to Target and daddy was checkin on the toy section all the new additions for her train set, anyway, we walk a lot and after that she got so tired we came back home and she went direct to bed.

Ok, talking about bussines, I made a card today, yahoo!!!!! It was for today's Color Combination Challenge on SCS, using Certainly Celery, Orchid Opulence and Pumpkin Pie.

I cut a pice of Orchid Opulence 5.5" x 6.5" and folded in half. My piece of Certainly Celery is 4"x5 1/4". I just put on top of the back folded Orchid opulence, I distressed the border and put one button on top.

My front card, I just cut the white CS, punched it and passed some Pumpkin Pie ribbon and green too. I cover the little hold with a purple flower.

I used watercolor crayons to color the image.
I hope you like it.
Thanks for stopping by.
