Hello everyone!!! I hope you are having a great day. I was able to create a card before start doing anything else, LOL. I tried Try a New Technique Challenge on SCS today. Today's new Technique is "Grid Technique". Usually you use a Score Pal, but because I don't own one I used my cutting machine and I scored my CS using a pen.
I also combine this challenge with Sharon Jonhson's challenge (notimetostamp) , this week is to create a Thank you card.



Card Recipe:
Stamps: SU Baroque Motifs, Thank Sentiment by Studio G.
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, White (GP), Light Blue (Bazzill)
Ink: SU Blue Bayou, Stazon Black.
Embellishments: Gold brads, gold stickles, American Craft Ribbon.
Accessories: SU dimensionals, mini glue dots, markers.
Techniques: Griding, tearing.

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having a great day, Here in the NW is sunny and bright, even though we are not going to get high temperatures, it is much better than last week when we had only heavy clouds and rainy days, maybe that's why my mojo was gone, believe me really gone.

Anyway, today is Monday and new challenge day on SCS. Mondays are Try a New Technique Challenge. The challenge for today is created a POP UP card, click here to see the tutorial.
This card is not difficult to make, but you have to be very careful with the measurements and cuts. I followed all the instructions, so here is my card:

Card stock: Brown, Sage Shadow, Really Rust (regular and textured CS)
Paper: DP SU Outlaw (retired)
Ink: SU Chocolate Chip pigment
Embellishments: Brown and cream ribbons, Bella baubles, gold stickles.
Accessories: Sticky tape, double sided tape, Coluzzle, scallop scissors, mini glue dots.

Two Way Open Card.

Happy Monday everyone. I hope you all are starting a great week.
Today on SCS Monday Challenge was to create a Two Way Open Card. This card is easy to make and the result is amazing, you should try it too.

For my card I used a Daisy Trio #1 by smARTworks. I won this set on Dina's blog. This set is really cool and it is the first time I used a Trio Stamp to create the image. I follow the instructions given on SCS to make the card.

Two Way Open Card.

For YOU!!

Hello everyone!!! I hope you are having a great day. The weather here is getting warm, yahoo!!! I like Spring because it's not too hot nor too cold, it is PERFECT!!! I have been working outside lately, and feels really comfortable.

Today's challenge at SCS is: Double Pocket Card. This technique is fun and easy!!!! My card stock is a bit thick, so I cut the inside folding part so that way my card doesn't look too thick.

I really love the results.

Paper: DP Magnolia.

Card Stock: SU Purely Pomegranate, SU Pretty in Pink.

A little change and a TLC card

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great day. I tried to post earlier, but I had few thing to do before I could sit down and put my ideas in order.

Yesterday I was checking my blog and I notice it looked really dark, so I decided to change my layout color, I think now looks a little bit better, I hope you like the way it looks now.

Ok, for today's challenge at SCS was to create a card stacking 2 o more layers of ribbon, simple ha.

Always .... in my heart

I folded my White Card stock, I used my SU Cranberry Crisp ink and distressed the borders. I cut a piece of Purely pomegranate CS and scored the borders ( I used my scissors). I cut another piece of DP (I don't know the company) and punched the corners using my SU Ticket corner punch.

I cut the heart from the SU Always Set (I got the image thru the Wish Rak group) and scored it too, I added 2 little Prima Flowers(I put some silver brad in the center) and some gold stickles.

I added some pink brad in every corner.

For my sentiment I cut in half the little Rectangle Scallop and I added the sentiment.

I cut a little bit on one side on my White CS to insert the ribbons. I used Purely Pomegranate Satin Ribbon and Pink Grosgrain Ribbon.

A little change and a TLC card

Monday Challenge: Dahlia Fold

Yesterday, my blog was crazy. I wrote the information for this card but it didn't let me go through with all the process, something happened, I don't know what, anyway, I made this card for yesterday's challenge on SCS: Try a New Technique Dahlia Fold. I tried and it was great, first time trying this technique. When I read the information about this challenge and found out that the directions were given by my good online friend Judy Headrick, she has an awesome website with a lot of instructions, you can find the Dahlia Fold steps here: http://www.cardsandcrafts.freeservers.com/dahlia.html

My Dahlia I think came up pretty good. I don't know, what do you think?
