Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hop Day 2: "Elegant Florals" & "Sentimental Holidays"

Welcome to the second day of Inspiration Blog Hop. As you can see I am in the mood of CAS cards, maybe tomorrow I will have something with lots of layers :)

Elegant Florals: This set is a MUST have in your collection. I just needed a Sympathy Card, a really close friend of mine lost a dear friend few days ago and I will be sending this card to her.

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Stamp flower in Memento Sweet Cocoa, color it with markers (Copics Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17, YR16, YG63, 0)
  • Add Stickles to center of flower.
  • Stamp sentiment in Memento Sweet Cocoa.
  • Score a couple of lines on left side.
  • Tie on ribbon.


Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: Ivory (GKD)
  • Stamps: Elegant Florals (GKD)
  • Ink: Memento Sweet Cocoa (Tsukineko)
  • Accessories: Score-buddy, Star Dust Stickles (Ranger), Green Seam Binding Ribbon.

Sentimental Holidays: Love all the sentiments in this set!! Another CAS card for you.

Directions:
  • Make card base from Kraft Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut  a panel from Ivory Cardstock (3.75" x 5")
  • Cut a piece of Patterned Paper (2.25" x 3.5"), stamp bottom border (images from Warm Woolen Mittens) in Memento Desert Sand and Frayed Burlap Distress Ink, sentiment in Walnut Stain Distress. Adhere it to panel and add zig-zag stitches.
  • Stamp star in Watermark Ink, add gold embossing powder and heat it up. Cut it out.
  • Score lines to right and bottom sides.
  • Add star to panel with medium pop dots.
  • Add pearls.

  • Cardstock: Kraft, Ivory (GKD)
  • Paper: Bundle Collection (Authentique)
  • Stamps: Sentimental Holidays, Warm Woolen Mittens (GKD)
  • Ink: Memento Desert Sand,  Versamark (Tsukineko), Frayed Burlap Distress, Walnut Stain Distress (Ranger)
  • Accessories: Pearls, Gold embossing powder, Embossing heat gun, Sewing machine.
