Pretty birds!

Hello!! I hope your Sunday is great, I usually don't post on Sundays, but today I really want to show something I just discovered yesterday, well kind of. In the last five years, every Spring we have a killdeer couple, who makes their nest in our rocky land. Our front yard is still virgin "aka weeds, rocks and other nature stuff", we tried to keep it clean as much as we can, but weeds sometimes win. Anyways, killdeers love to make their nests on the ground. The last 2 weeks or so I've seen "mama and papa" being super protective and loud anytime I opened my front door (These birds are VERY LOUD), so yesterday I was leaving the house and getting into the car and my husband said" Look at those babies!" My daughter really wanted to jump out of the card and chase the babies, LOL. We decided to go, run errands and try a picture later. But after we came back home, we all were tired and ready for a nap, and honestly I forgot about the new little ones.
So this morning before going to church, I caught some pictures of the babies and the mama from inside the house.

Here they are:
Can you see those feathers? They are so fluffy :)

This little one was just looking at me :)

Mama keeping an eye to the little ones.

Hope your Sunday is great!!
God bless.

I treated a white and 2 yellow button with Green/white twine and added to my card.

Happy Mother Day: I love all the red/pink tones from this card. Starting from the top I used Fabric Tape Mini Check Peppermint, Fabric Tape Mini Check Taffy, the polka dot scallop circle was created with Pink Dot Washi Tape. Happy Mother's Day!

Hello my friends! Hope your Friday is fantastic wherever you are. I have another butterfly card for you today. This time using "Treasured" set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I saw that today on SCS Free for All Challenge it's to use 2 or more 3 Patterned Papers, super fun!

Set it to cool and cut out flower and butterfly (I used a yellow and pink PP from this collection) TIP: You can enhance the colors by adding a little bit of Copic Markers.

Spread Love

Hello my friends!! Hope you all are having a great day. Here, the weather has been friendly, so my family and I decided to do some "garden work", I am so excited to see it growing, I already have lots of garlic, onion, chives and shallots!! and I just planted potatoes, arugula, carrots, and inside the house I started zucchini, tomatoes, basil, squash, peas, green beans. I am hoping for the weather to make its mind so I can transplant them, at night the weather is getting really chili (32F!). I've also been working on some DT projects and spending time with my family. I realized (well, I knew it)  my daughter is growing way too fast!!

Anyway, today I decided to create a card just for fun. I used the photo inspiration from Moxie Fab World and the Sketch from Fall to Layout Blog (CAS).

The picture from the MFWB is just too pretty and invited me to do some watercoloring. I scrabbled 2 different tones of Red, Yellow and a bit of Brown, I used Inktense Watercolor Pencils (Derwent) add some water and let it dried (well, I used my heat gun, no patience here), after that I used SU Butterflies Dies. Miss E. (The little one I babysit) helped me inking all the butterflies edges :), she loves to stamp with me.

I also used some pretty Washi Tape from Love my Tapes, I think you will see me using it a lot :)

The sentiment is from Gina K. Designs "Stately Flowers 3" set and also added some yummy Pink Sorbet Twine from The Twinery.

Hope you like it!!
Have a great day.

Saturday, April 14

You are beary special!

Hello my friends! Happy Saturday to you all. I want to show you a card I made few days ago using new stamps and dies from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I die-cut the clouds, fence and grass using felt, then adhere them to my card base with Scor-tape. Super simple!! I added Star Dust Stickles to the clouds and bear.
