Gina K. June Inspiration Blog Hop "Day 1": The Vine & All Occassion Tags

Welcome to Day 1 of Gina K. Designs June Inspiration Blog Hop. Today we are featuring 2 brand new sets: The Vine designed by Melanie Muenchinger and All Occasion Tags designed by Tami Mayberry.

The Vine Set

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock.
  • Cut a piece of Just Peachy CS, White CS and Patterned Paper. Punch out the right corners from each piece. Add Stitches and adhere it to card.
  • Add Ribbon around card.
  • Stamp sentiment on a White piece of CS in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Die-cut, emboss and stencil piece using Rectangle Nestabilities. Adhere it to card.
  • Die-cut, emboss and stencil a piece of Just Peachy CS using the medium die from Fleur de Lis Shapeabilities dies.
  • Stamp image on a White piece of CS, color it with Copic Makers. Die-cut, emboss and stencil it using Circle Nestabilities. Adhere it to previous piece with Pop Dots and Adhere it to card.
  • Stamp and color and extra image, cut it out and adhere it to image with Mini pop Dots. Add Clear Rhinestones to flowers.
  • Create a double bow using the Bow Easy. Adhere it to card.
  • Add Clear Rhinestones to right bottom corner.

Card recipe:
  • Cardstock:White, Just Peachy (Gina K. Designs)
  • Paper: Tea at Elsie's (Kaisercraft)
  • Stamps: The Vine (Gina K. Designs)
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Vintage Photo Distress, Worn Lipstick(Ranger Industries)
  • Embellishments: Peach Satin Ribbon (Offray), Clear Rhinestones (Gina K. Designs)
  • Accessories: Rectangle Nestabilities, Circle Nestabilities, Fleur de Lis MOtifs Shapeabilities (Spellbinders), Medium and Small Pop Dots, Sponges, Sewing Machine, Corner Punch (SU), Scor-tape.

All Occasion Tags

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock.
  • Cut a piece of Ivory CS (5" x 3.75"). Emboss piece using Seeing Spots folder, ink all edges.
  • Punch border pieces (3), ink all edges and adhere them to card. Add ribbon around. Adhere piece to card base.
  • Stamp saying and tag border on Ivory CS in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Die-cut, emboss and stencil piece using Grommet Tag Dies. Adhere it to card with Pop Dots.
  • Add paper flowers and Gold Nilheads.

  • Cardstock: Ivory (Gina K. Designs)
  • Ink: Vintage Photo Distress (Ranger Industries)
  • Stamps: All Occasion Tags (Gina K. Designs)
  • Embellishments: Large and Medium Gold Nailheads (Gina K. Designs), White and Red Paper flowers (Recollections), Ribbon (SU)
  • Accessories: Seeing Spots Embossing folder (Provo craft), Grommet Tag Dies (Spellbinders), Sunburst Border punch (Fiskars), Large Pop Dots, Glue dots, Sponges, Scor-tape

  12. Both of your cards are absolutely gorgeous!! I love everything about your peach card, it really takes my breath away!! The bow, polka dots, the layering effect with the Nesties is just fabulous!! Your second card is so eye appealing. I would never have thought to use the distressed inks like this on the white, but I love it!!! You used both stamp sets so wonderfully!!
