IO Die-cut Obsession: Happy Birthday

Hello friends!
The Impression Obsession Design Team have set aside a couple days a month to share some fabulous new Impression Obsession die projects! Have fun checking out what our Designers have made today. Today's participants can be found on the Impression Obsession Blog

I created a very Clean and Simple card this time.
For this project I used Cake Die and Greetings Top Edgers.

Details:
Die-cut watercolor piece using Cake and Greeting Top Edgers and set aside.
Die-cut a couple of extra cakes, glue them together and set aside.
Cut a piece of patterned paper and adhere it to a white card base. Cut a little stripe of Pink shimmering cardstock.
Adhere sentiment and cake.
Add pearls to cake.

After editing my pictures, I thought the card was too CAS [{wink, wink} so I added  Rhurbarb Crumble, Dandelion Yellow and Caribbean Ocean Nuvo Drops. Still Looks CAS, but with a little extra.

Which one do you prefer?

  1. What a fun die, and you've added to the whimsical look with your use of pp and the run Nuvo drops. Love it.
