Where have I been? and a Giveaway!!

Hello everyone!
I feel like I have been blogging in a very long time, most of my  posts were pre-scheduled so I have not been here for a long time.
Well, as you can tell lately I have not been posting much and in few posts I wrote I was having some health issues, well, yes  I had to stop everything and take care of myself.
So, in the last few months I've been suffering with back problems and tummy aches, never connected them until July 22nd when my husband took me to the ER because I thought I was dying, I was in so much pain, pain I can not describe.
After a lot of tests and strong pain killers I was diagnosed with "gallbladder stones", after that I was in a very strict diet and finally had surgery on August 4th. It's taking a lot longer to recover, I was hoping for a super quick recovery like my previous surgeries, but not, this one is quite different and today I can finally stand straight, and walk more "normally".

So, I have been coloring a little bit, not doing much, or better say, doing nothing (I get bored really fast) and I hope next week I can start showing you some of the projects I am trying to "make" this week and be back into my healthy being.

So, if you read all this, THANK YOU!! I really appreciate your visits and I comments. I have this extra set that I will giveaway to any you, I may add few more things  Just leave a comment and I will announce the winner next week.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great day!!

  7. Glad you are starting to feel better. A few years back my husband also had back and tummy pain, and it took awhile to figure out it was a big gallstone. Take care.

  8. OMGosh you poor thing, I hope you are feeling better soon. Gallstones and surgery are enough to wipe you out for a while. After surgery, it is usually the gas they inflate that really takes a while to get out of your system. Try to walk around a little several times a day. Get well soon.

  10. So glad we have the Lord to look after you.
Resting up after surgery is one of the hardest things to do.
Thanks for all the great inspiration.

  11. Hi Giovana, I am happy to hear you got to the bottom of your health problems. It is always difficult to ward off boredom after surgery but believe me it is so worth it to follow Dr's orders. I had 5 surgeries in 8 years and I felt better for it and so will you. It sounds as though you have the worse part behind you, have faith and stay strong. You're worth it and well wait for your return!
