Sweet 'n Sassy September release!!

Hello, Sweet 'n Sassy  friends!  Welcome to the September 2014 Release!  Autumn is such a wonderful time of the year.  Just think of cool crisp mornings, warm colors, ripe, juicy apples, changing leaves, beautiful fall flowers, and Thanksgiving and you have the makings of a fabulous release!

This release is a little different from those in the past as some of the items have already been released to Sweet Perks Club participants…but now, there are a few more Fall surprises we have to share with you!

Here you have the new stamps:
They are all GREAT!!  You are going to love them all!

Let me show you what I have for you today.

Thankful for you: This card is super simple and I love how it turn out, I wanted to create more than just a background, so I stamped the  Skeleton Leaf Background (twice) on a piece of white cardstock in Versamark Watermark ink, then added white embossing powder and heated set. Then, I used Distress Inks to create a yellow/orange background and for the other one I used blue/green Distress Inks. Then, I used the new Leaf Silhouettes Die Set to die-cut leaves. I used only one from the blue/green background I created, I will be using that one in another project ;) After that I added the die-cut leaves to my background piece, stamped the sentiment from So Grateful set, added a little strip of Cooper Metal Sheet to the end of the BG line, added sequins and twine, added my pieces to a white card base and my card was done!

Happy Fall: Here I used Beary Bountiful Autumn set. This card turned out a lot better than I expected, my main idea was to create something CAS, then I added few things here and there and I started liking more that way, LOL. This card is 5" square. The white panel is 4.5" square, I stamped the background using Distress Inks  and Falling Leaves Set, then I scored each side at 1/8". Then I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored it with Spectrum Noir Markers and die-cut, embossed and stenciled it with a square die. I stamped and colored extra hat, pumpkin and Happy Fall sign, then cut them out and added them to the image with foam adhesive. The sentiment was stamped in Coffee Archival Ink. Finally, I die-cut and embossed the small leaves from Leaf Silhouettes Die Set using Cooper Metal Sheet and added them to the card.

  1. Fantastic cards Giovana. Love how you die-cut the leaves out of the skeleton image. What a clever idea. The metal leaves are the perfect embellihsments on your sweet Rhubarb card.
