February Release Blog Hop Day 2: Delightfully Delicate Background

Welcome to DAY 2 of our February Release Blog Hops!
featuring "Delightfully Delicate Background"

Today the DT is thrilled to share the new  Delightfully Delicate Background with you.  This gorgeous image is a seamless background stamp that can be used to make as large a background as you wish!  You'll love the dainty touch it adds to your projects!

  • Image measures approximately 3.75" x 3.75
  • Stamp is $11
These are the projects I have for you.

This is a super CAS card!! I started with an Ivory card base, stamp the background in ever corner in Coastal Cabana Ink. Stamp the sentiment in  Delicata Golden Ink from Majestic Monarchs Set, let it dry. Then I stamped the background on a piece of white cardstock in Versamark Watermark ink, added white embossing powder and heat set, then sponged the panel with same Coastal Cabana Ink, after that I die-cut butterflies from Majestic Monarchs Dies, ink all edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink and, mounted the butterflies, added a bottom and twine. To make my card more fun I added a couple of strips of coordinated color Washi Tape. Fun!!
The butterflies are located over the edge, inspired by the CASual Friday Challenge: Over the edge and Washi Tape inspired by the new challenge at The Ribbon Carousel

I really love how this card turned out. I stamped the background on White cardstock in Clear embossing powder, then heat set. I applied several layers of pinks Distress Inks, then die-cut the piece with a label die. I adhered it to an ivory piece (4" square), scored the edge sides, then added a couple of laces and added stitches, added twine and paper flowers. I stamped the sentiment on an ivory piece in Coffee Archival Ink, then added the panel to a textured Tan Leather cardstock (4.75" square card). My card got inspired by The Paper Poppy February Sketch
