Sweet 'n Sassy January Release Day 2: The Future

Welcome to day 2 of our January feature Blog Hops!

Today we're featuring "The Future" stamp set

  • Clear stamp set includes 10 sentiments
  • Set measures approximately 4" x 6"
  • Largest sentiment measures approximately 2" x 2"
  • Designed by Korin Sutherland
  • Stamp set - $15
This is the project I have for you today, a very easy card using your scraps!! I named this the "Scrap technique".  I don't know if you saved your scraps, but I do, something I end up with a lot of them, believe me a lot of them, LOL. So I decided to give them a good use and this is the result, I just love it!

Here are the details:
  • Make card base from Vanilla Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut a panel from Vanilla Cardstock (3.5" x 4.75").
  • Now the fun part: Cut long stripes of different colors of cardstock, combining soft and dark colors to give your project a big WOW!!
  • Choose an angle and start arranging your stripes, you can wave them or add them just straight. As you can see I only waved one.
  • Stamp sentiment in Coffee Archival Ink.
  • Score a couple of lines on each side.
  • Add blue sequins.

Check out some of the fabulous samples made by our talented DT in the thumbnails below.

Be sure to leave a comment of each of the blogs along your journey because we're giving away (5) $15 store credits (1 winner will be chosen from each of the 5 blog hops).

  8. This is so cool! And what an awesome way to use up those scraps too narrow to use for anything else. I hate to throw them away, 'cause they could be used for something! Now, I know what. : )
