A Lighthouse card and a flower pot pocket.

Hello!! Thanks for stopping by! I have a couple of projects using Hearfelt Creations Products!

CAS Lighthouse: I think this card is a good option as a masculine card.

Instructions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Stamp compass background in Memento Summer Sky.
  • Cut a strip of Paper from Balmy Breeze Paper Collection, add it to bottom of card.
  • Stamp lighthouse image on Watercolor paper in Jet Black Archival Ink. Color image with Inktense Pencils.
  • Die-cut and emboss image with Labels Three Nestabilities. Add image to card with Dimensionals.
  • Die-cut anchor in cork.
  • Add twine and tie anchor.
  • Add Crystal Lacquer to lighthouse.

Pocket Flower Pot: This pocket is perfect to include a gift card, money, or a little note :)

Instructions:
  • Die-cut 1 piece of small and large flower pot as well as the decorative border from cork.
  • Mount pieces together to create a pocket and add stitches.
  • Stamp leaf spray onto Balmy Breeze Paper in Peeled Paint Ink. Die-cut with coordinated dies.
  • Stamp Vintage Floret flowers onto a piece of Vintage Flower Paper in Barn Boor Distress Ink. Die-cut with coordinated dies. Shapes flower petals with Paper Blossom Kit, Mount them and create flower.
  • Cut a piece of Balmy Breeze Paper 2" x 5". Add flowers to top of paper.
  • Add leaf spray to flower pot.
  • Die-cut mini tags from Vellum, stamp sentiment in Jet Black Archival Ink.
  • Add mini tags to flower pot, add twine and tie a knot.
  • Add pearls to center flowers and stickles.

Proverbs 31:30

Hello dear friends! Hope you are having a great day. Spring is the season for nice weather and also for crazy allergies. Oh goodness, if everything could be just the way we wanted it, so far we haven't had crazy rain, but the last 3 days we had crazy winds!!

Anyway, I want to show these cards I made few days ago to send to the ladies who teach and help with my daughter's Bible study group. She goes to a group called GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour) and last week was the last study for the year.

I made 4 cards, pretty much the same design, just the front stamping was a little different. I used "Precious Poppies" set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, added few gold sequins and die-cut these cute little butterflies from a very old paper I found that day, LOL. Hard to see but the pink cardstock is metallic and shines beautifully, this is from CutCardstock.


Also, I just want to share a cute picture! My neighbor got a pregnant pig few weeks ago and mama pig "Blue" delivered 12 little piglets last Monday night, sadly 2 didn't make it, but yesterday I went to visit them and they are the cutest thing on earth!! Seriously, I just wanted to pick one and take it home with me. Happily, we are just neighbor so I can come and visit any time :)

A mother is...

Hello my friends! Today I have a cute card In Spanish, but do not panic, I have the translation for all of you who do not speak it.
This card was super easy to make, seriously, sometimes you just need a pretty paper and few embellishments and your card is done.

Translation: A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take. Cardinal Mermillod


Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock, A2 size.
  • Cut a panel from Patterned Paper. This piece is from Hello Friend by Glitz.
  • Ink all edges, stamp sentiment direct on patterned paper in Jet Black Archival.
  • Add black and fuchsia rhinestones.
  • Add a bow and a bitty bottom.

Get Well

Hello my friends!! Hope you are having a great day. I have a cute card for you today using Great Impressions Stamps. anytime I look at the image it makes me smile.

Here are the details:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock. 5.25" square.
  • Cut a panel from Light Blue Cardstock and mat with Patterned Paper. Add Stitches.
  • Stamp image on White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black. Color image with markers. I used Spectrum Noir:
    •  Hat: HB1, HB2, HB3
    • Face: TN1, GB2
    • Hair and watering can: TN4, TN5, TN6, EB3, EB4
    • Flowers and leaves: CR8, DR1, OR2, OR3, LY1, LY2, LY3, PP2, LG3, LG4, JG1.
    • Mushroom: BGR1, BGR2, GG1
  • Die-cut, emboss and stencil image with Circle Nestabilities.
  • Stamp sentiment on White Cardstock on White Cardstock. Cut sentiment.
  • Die-cut grass from Patterned Paper and Fence from Brown Cardstock.
  • Put all pieces together.
  • Add White Opal Liquid Pearls to flowers.

Heartfelt Creations cards

Hello my friends! I have a couple of cards using Heartfelt Creations Stamps. I had a lot of fun creating them, hope you enjoy them.

For my Wonderful Mother

Instructions:
  • Cut a piece of Light Brown Cardstock 8.75" x 6.25", folded in half to create card base.
  • Cut a panel from Posy Patch Paper Collection (4 1/8" x 6"), ink all edges.
  • Stamp Vintage floret frame on a piece of  Balmy Breeze Paper Collection in Versamark Watermark Ink, add white embossing powder and heat set. Die0cut piece using coordinated die.
  • Stamp leaves on Balmy Breeze Paper Collection in Peeled paint Distress Ink, die-cut using coordinated die.
  • Stamp Vintage floret flowers on Vintage Floret Paper in Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. Die-cut flowers using coordinated dies.Mount flowers and add a pearl in the center.
  • Stamp sentiment on a piece of Ivory Cardstock. Die-cut and emboss it with Circle Nestabilities.
  • Assemble pieces on frame with Dimensionals and add them to card base.

  • Stamp image on Watercolor Paper, color it with Inktense Pencils. Die-cut, emboss and stencil piece with Oval Nestabilities.
  • Put panel together using dimensionals.
  • Add a bow and add a rhinestone.

Mom, you are wonderful

Hello my friends! It has been few days since my last post. I am still recovering from my fall, some days are better than others, today is not a good day, but feeling better than last night or this morning.

Anyway, I am in the mood for Mother's Day cards, hope you get inspired by my projects and work ahead on all of your Mother's day cards.

This card features a couple of stamp sets from Latina Crafter: "Mi flor favorita" and a new set soon-to-be-released ;)

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock. 4.5" square.
  • Cut a panel from Pink Cardstock (4" square)
  • Stamp flowers and leaves.
  • Stamp sentiment in Jet Black Archival.
  • Add stitches to opposite cornes and distress all edges.
  • Add red sequins to flowers and clear rhinestones.

Happy Mother's Day

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a fantastic day. Today I have for you a Mother's Day card. Just popping an idea for you, I like how this card turned out. This is a special order  and I hope the recipient likes it.

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Mat a piece of Orange CS (5" x 3.75")  and Patterned Paper. Add stitches.
  • Add ribbon around.
  • Die-cut a Decorative Plaque from Ivory Cardstock. Stamp sentiment in Jet Black Archival and toppers in  Memento Tangelo. Add piece to card panel with Dimensionals.
  • Die-cut butterflies from Vellum, stamp butterflies in Memento Tangelo. Glue vellum butterflies (I used my heat glue gun) and add them to card. Add small pearls to butterflies.
  • Add medium pearls to corners.
  • Add panel to card base with large Pop dot.

Masculine Anchor

Hello my friends! I have a Masculine card for you today, this is a very clean and simple. After falling I have not been able to craft much, getting better every day, taking it easy.
 
Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Create a panel with Blue Cardstock (5" x 3.75") and Paper from Balmy Breeze Collection. Add jute ribbon.Adhere panel to card base.
  • Stamp anchor on Ivory Cardstock in Jet Black Ink. Die-cut and emboss piece with Oval Nestabilities. Adhere it to panel with small pop dots.

Hello...

Hi everyone! Hope your day is fantastic! I was planning on posting yesterday, but I had a little accident, I feel down while mowing the lawn and after that I was in so much pain that the only thing I did was just rest. Today the pain still there, I think I broke my tailbone "again", yes! I broke it when I was 16 and I spent 4 miserable months in pain until the bone fused. Anyway, I will take one day at the time, just hope it doesn't take 4 months to heal again.

I have a card using Latina Crafter Stamps, this set is called "Hola, yo soy" (Hi, I am/ my name is), fun to create cards or tags. For the felt flowers I used "Mi flor Favorita" dies.

Happy Birthday! This card is super fast and easy to make. This is a 4" x 4" card. I used the Birthday Set and Dies to create the gift box. The patterned paper is a scrap piece that matched the colors I wanted to use, piece is 3.5" x 3.5". I die-cut the mini tag and stamped the Happy birthday sentiment, added a little piece of twine and my card was done. I added little dots of Ruby Liquid Pearls to the box and a couple of thin pieces of green cardstock to one side.

Directions:

Celebrating 11 years!!: This is the card I created for you today. This year I will be celebrating my 11th Wedding Anniversary and I thought this would be a nice idea for my anniversary card. Searching online I found out the the flower for the 11th anniversary is a tulip, so I used the pretty tulip from Flower Blocks 1.

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory cardstock. 5.5" square
  • Stamp front saying from Celebrating Milestones Set in Jet Black Archival.
  • Stamp tulip on Watercolor paper, color and die-cut image with Square Nestabilities. I colored the image with Inktense Pencils (Derwent)
  • Mat tulip on a red panel using Fleur de Lis Squares Nestabilities. Cover tulip with Crystal Lacquer and let it dry (about 30 minutes)
  • Add panel to card front with large pop dots.
  • Inside: Mat a piece of Red CS ((4.5" square) and a piece of Ivory (4.25" square).
  • Stamp sentiment from Anniversary Innies in Jet Black Archival Ink.
  • Stamp little heart (x2) in Memento Angel Pink Ink. Heart from Bottom of my heart set.

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory cardstock. A2 size.
  • Mat a piece of Light Pink CS (3.75" x 5") and Patterned Paper and add stitches. Die-cut a piece of Vellum using Large Scallop Border Die and add it to panel, add zig-zag stitches. Add Red Ribbon.
  • Add panel to card base.
  • Stamp large poppies on White cardstock in Jet Black Archival Ink. Color image with Prismacolor Pencils.
    • Colors used: PC922, PC924, PC926, PC939, PC938, PC1002, PC912, PC1077(Colorless blender)
  • I cut out the top off the right poppy and the side od the left one so I can put it through the Rectangle Nestabilities Dies.
  • Stamp Sentiment on a piece of Vellum in versamark Ink and add White Embossing powder.

Happy Mother's Day: This is super "Clean and Simple" card.

Directions:
  • Make card base from Sandy Beach Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut a panel from Ivory CS (3.75" x 5"). Stamp Background Poppy and Sentiment in Versamark Ink, add Gold Embossing powder and heat set.
  • Give the image a little bit of color. 
  • Add twine a a button, make a bow.

It's time to celebrate

Hello my friends! Second post for today. It's time for a new challenge over at Great Impressions Stamps Blog. This month's challenge is all about "Pastels and /or Polka dots". Well I used both on my card. Don't you love this cute image? I think it's adorable!! I have few more, so be prepared to see more of this cute bear here ;)

Directions:
  • Make card from White Cardstock. A2 size
  • Mat Lemon drop CS (5" x 3.75') and Patterned Paper, add zig-zag and straight stitches.
  • Stamp image on White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black. Color image with markers: Spectrum Noir Markers used:
    • Bear: TN5, TN6, TN9
    • Sleeve: LY1, LY2, LY3, CR3
    • Blanket: BT3, GT1, CR3
  • Die-cut, emboss and stencil image with Circle Nestabilities, mat this piece with a Yellow Scallop Circle piece.
  • Adhere image to card.
  • Create a double bow from Yellow Satin Ribbon and adhere it to card. Add paper flower.
  • Inside: Mat Lemon drop and White CS, add a strip of patterned paper and add stitches.
  • Stamp sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black.

  • Accessories: Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Bow-easy, Pop dots, Sewing machine.

Gree/Blue Happy Birthday: This card has a very long story, to make it short, I made the same mistake 3 times, did,'t have time to fix it, LOL so if you guess what the mistake is, I will send you a prize ;)





CAS Happy Birthday: Super easy and pretty at the same time. I stamped the poppies on Vellum paper and embossed them in White, colored them with Inktense Pencils and Distress Inks, cut them out and voila!! Just added some score line and twine.
