Thanks so much!

Hello my friends, hope you are having a great day! Today, I am having a quiet and relax day so far. DD and I spent some time organizing her play room, oh my! that was a HUGE mess!! I helped her a bit and then she finished it, of course after few tears (because she insisted she needed help!) she was happy to have a nice and clean place to play and walk around, LOL.
After that, we tried to do some yard work, but it started to get TOO hot, but we did peek around the garden and we were so happy to see tomatoes and potatoes!! I couldn't resist myself and I dug a bit and I found some pretty red and yellow potatoes, I can't wait to harvest them, and cook  and enjoy them :)

Anyway, enough of my crazy life and now focus on my card. It has a long while since I played SPCC and I decided to give it a try this week. The colors for this week are Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Certainly Celery, it was a challenge for me to mix them in a way they look good and I think I got it :)
I am also combining this with The Shabby Tea Room, this week the challenge is "1,2,3" 1 ribbon, 2 buttons and 3 punches or dies.
I couldn't resist myself and I made a pretty green flower. I love to make them and I have a pile of punches ready to become a pretty flower :)

I am submitting this card to Let's Do Classy & Elegant over at Moxie Fab Blog :) and also to Stamp Something Challenge : Flowers!

Missing you

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great day. Yesterday, I received some sad news, my niece's dog of 14 years died. I got really sad because I got that dog for her when she was only 6, now she is 20. I talked to her last night and she was very sad but feeling better. The saddest part is that her dog has been my dog's (his name is "Bethoven") company for over all these years. My sister told me he was crying and I am pretty sure he is missing "Pelusa" so much. He is 14 years old too. I wish I could bring him here, but I can't. My family there (Peru) is taking care of him now.

Anyway, I was feeling kind of blue, because I am missing my doggie and my family too! so I decided to make a card to send to my niece and I hope she can feel better soon.

I usually don't use too much black on my cards, but I think this one turned out pretty good. Today, I got  my new SU paper "Love Letters" and I decided to give it a try. I also made more paper flowers in different colors, :) this one is pure ivory, the edges are ink with Antique Linen and Tea Dye, I add some Clear Glitter from MS.

I am combining several challenges and they are:
Sketch: Taylored Expressions SC # 122.
Color : The Play Date Cafe
Recipe 1,2,3 (1 Ribbon, 2 buttons, 3 punches: The Shabby Tea Room.
Vintage : Moxie Fab World.
Stitching: Stamp & Create
Flowers: Stamp Something

Directions:
  • Make card from card stock.
  • Mat card stock and patterned paper, ink edges and stitch.
  • Die-cut label, sponge and stamp image and sentiment.
  • Add ribbon using scor-tape.
  • Add paper flower and buttons.
Card Recipe:
  • Card stock: Kraft (GKD), White (GKD), Black (LSS)
  • Stamps: On the desk (Cornish Heritage Farm)
  • Paper: Love Letters (SU).
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Antique Linen Distress (Ranger), Tea Dye Distress (Ranger).

Hope you like it!
Have a great day!

PS: I got some requests about how I make the flowers, I am not making tutorials, but I will try my best and I will post one this week. Thanks!!

Happy Anniversary!

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great day! I don't have a card for you today, I hope later. Today, my wonderful husband and I are celebrating our 8th Wedding Anniversary!
Yesterday, I planned to make a card for him, but when I checked the time, it was almost time to start dinner, then he was around my craft area and I didn't do it. Then I decided to watch TV and I fell asleep.
Anyway, today we are planning to go out for some yummy dinner at the Indian Restaurant, I've heard really good comments about this place and we are going to try it. My good neighbor Nicole is babysitting Rebecca, so we can have a nice time, just us!

Here is a picture of our wedding day in PerĂº. At this time, it's winter over there. That day was a very cold day and even started raining a little bit, but I always kept a big smile, it was my Wedding!!

By the way, yesterday DD and I made "anniversary cookies" for daddy, LOL.

Have a great day!
God bless you all!

Pink Christmas cards

Hello my friends! I hope you are having a great day {without allergies;)}. Today I have some not-conventional Christmas cards. When I was planning my project I told myself what not to create something different, to be honest I've never made Pink Christmas cards, but sometimes you need to think outside the box :)
As you know I am a  hostess over at Stamp TV and this week I am challenging my good friends there to "Emboss + Pink"
I created very Clean & Simple cards. I love layers and embellishments (tons), so creating CAS cards is a big challenge for me.
While creating these I immediately thought of the Card Style Challenge over at Moxie Fab World "Clean & Graphic" and Christmas in July Challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room.

Here are my cards!
I did a  lot of embossing, all the images were heat embossed. For the ornament card I stamped the snowflake and die cut circles in different sizes. Then I adhered embroidery thread to create the bows.

 Card Recipe:
  • Card stock: Innocent Pink, Layering White, Chocolate Brown (GKD)
  • Stamps: Blessed is the season (GKD)
  • Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa (Tsukineko), Clear Versamak, Pealescent Poppy (Tsukineko)
  • Embellishments: Pink Rhinestones (KaiserCrafts), Pearls (Michael's), Embroidery Thread (DMC), Jute twine (GKD), Red button from Holiday Collection (GKD)
  • Accessories: Label 3 Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Rectangle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Gold embossing powder, Embossing heat gun, Sponge daubers, Foam tape.
Hope you like it!
Have a great day!

Have you check all the fun challenges over at Moxie Fab World Blog? well, if you haven't, please go!! They are fun! and they have this one that I love! Oh baby!

Hello my friends! I am back with a cute baby card. My yard work took a little longer than I expected, but I managed to make a card today, yay!! Let me tell you something that happened while I was stamping, in the last few days a couple of hawks have been flying around our house, they must have found something good because they are around pretty much all day and they make a funny sound, this morning when I was working on my yard one was flying very low and I started imitating the sound and the hawk started flying extremely too low, LOL, they are so much to watch, that's why I love living in the country :)

Here a couple of pictures of 2 different hawks sitting on the telephone poles. One is a lot bigger than the other one.

Now, into my card, for this I used Oh Baby! set (GKD). The cute teddy bear was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and then cut out. The red button is from Button Jar-Red Mix (GKD).

Card recipe:
  • Card stock: Lemon Drop (GKD), Layering White (GKD), Tangerine Tango (SU).
  • Patterned Paper: Just Dreamy Collection (My Mind's Eye).
  • Stamps: Oh Baby! (GKD).
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko). Memento Tangelo (Tsukineko).
  • Embellishments: Lemon Satin Ribbon (Offray), Red Button (GKD).
  • Accessories: Sewing machine, White thread, Threading Water Border Punch (Fiskars), Label 3 Nestabilites (Spellbinders), Sponge daubers, Scor-tape, Yellow embroidery thread, Foam tape, Prismacolor pencils, OMS.

I am this card to the following challenges:
Hope you like it.
Have a great day!!
