A card and a Greek delish!
I made this card few weeks ago and never posted it. It is a Birthday card with not the colors I like to use often, but I think it turned out pretty good! Actually, I really like it.
For this card I used the Flourish images from Flourishes Set by Inkadinkado, I stamped the image in Broken China Distress Ink and immediately added some Clear embossing powder, heated and you get a really shiny and pretty image. The sentiment is from Verve.
The colors I used are: White, Gray, Turquoise and Black, nice color combo, what do you think? Do you like it?
Card recipe:
Card Stock: White, Turquoise, Black, Gray.
Stamps: Flourishes (inkadinkado). Verve.
Ink: Broken China (Tim Holtz), Stazon Black.
Embellishments: Light blue ribbon (Offray), Turquoise Rhinestones (Kaiser Crafts)
Accessories: Border Punch (Fiskars), Clear embossing powder, embossing gun, mini glue dots.
Now, I want to share with you a recipe I tried last night, it is delicious!! It is Gyro Meat with Tzatziki Sauce. My husband was in the mood for Greek food, got this recipe from Food Network and even though it is a little of work with all the mixing stuff, it is worthy!! The taste is yummy!! Here a picture of the Gyro Meat and my plate ;)
Just a note, I used chicken instead of lamb, I grounded the chicken on my Bullet express. (I hesitated at first about this machine, but it really works)

Just my type
Anyway, I forgot to mention that Queen Kat Designs had a contest last month and I am in the top 10 finalist!! So, on the second round I have to create a card and a 3-D project. I have created and Easel Card and a Vintage Book
Easel Card: I've been wanting to make a card with this technique since forever :) So, I thought this could be a good time for it. I love how this turned out. I used Gina K.Pure Luxury card Stock. I love it, the CS is so thick and works great with this kind of technique. I sponged and stitched the borders on the big panel. The main image was cut and embossed with Circle Nestabilities and adhered on a Square Panel ( cut and embossed with Nestabilities as well)
Card Stock: Pure Luxury White.
I hope you like them.

I love you - Forever.
Anyway, I have a couple of Valentine cards for you my friends. First I have to say I am using the Colors from Embellish Blog Challenge. Second, I have to say Do I need glasses? Seriously, I played this challenge twice, I read the whole info like thousand of times and I forgot the "Hearts"!!!, So sorry Ashley, English may not be my first language, but I knew the challenge needed hearts, I hope you like them anyways. Third, I played the challenge again, and this time I included the Hearts :)

The sentiment was stamped in White CS using Stazon Black Ink, then Cut and embossed using Rectangles Nestabilities. I stamped the heart in Real red Ink and White CS, cut out and adhere on the lower corner. I adhered some Pink Satin Ribbon.

Sweet Love
Last Saturday I went to my local craft store and I bought few clear stamps like this one I used for this card "Sweet Cheri Collection" from Imaginisce. I stamped the image onto Pure Luxury CS (GinaK) in Stazon Black Ink, using Circle nestabilities I cut it out and embossed it. Then, I stamped the image twice, one in PL White CS and in PL Red CS. The one for the White CS was cut out and the one from the Red CS I cut only the word LOVE. I adhered it onto the White piece of CS.
The sketch is from Caardvarks Blog Challenge
And also for New Something Challenge over at Stamp Something Blog Challenge" Using something new; stamps, ribbon and rhinestones.

With Love.
I've checked some blogs last few days and I decided I wanted to play their challenges. It is hard to make a card for each of those awesome challenges, so I decided to combine 3 in 1.
First, Melanie is celebrating 2 years of blogging and 25 sets she has illustrated!! So I decided to join her celebration using one of my favorites of her sets: "A year of flowers" I love this set a lot!!!
Second, the sketch comes from Card Positioning System this week sponsored by Gina K. Designs.
And lastly, the wonderful color combo comes from Embellish Blog Challenge: Pink, Red & Black.
Card Recipe:
Card Stock: Pure Luxury White, Pure Luxury Red, Black.
Paper: SU Bella Rose (retired)
Stamps: A year of flowers by Gina K. Designs.
Ink: Stazon Black, Prismacolor Pencils.
Embellishments: Pearls (kaiser Crafts), Border Punch (Fiskars)
Accessories: Sewing machine, White thread, Square Nestabilities, Stamp-a-ma-jig, SU Dimensionals.
