Die-cut Obsession: Happy Birthday

 


Hello friends!
The Impression Obsession Design Team have set aside a couple days a month to share some fabulous new Impression Obsession die projects! Have fun checking out what our Designers have made today. Today's participants can be found on the Impression Obsession Blog.

Today, I have a birthday card using the new dies release this month!
Simple and colorful card.

Details:
Stamp Floral Balloons Background on white cardstock in Versamark Watermark Ink,
add white embossing powder and heat set.
Blend Distress Oxide Inks on panel, wipe ink from heat embossed area, trim panel.
Die-cut balloon from Party Balloons Die Set in yellow cardstock.
Die-cut Small Balloon String in white cardstock, adhere it to balloon.
Die-cut Happy Birthday from Birthday Words Die Set in white and holographic
cardstock, glue them together.
Adhere background panel to a white card base, adhere a small piece of vellum paper.
Adhere sentiment and balloon.
Embellish card with clear rhinestones.

Bless your Heart

 Hello friends!
Hope you are having a great day.
The PNW is having a heat wave and we are really cooking ourselves, lol
Feels a lot worse when you don't have AC in the house, but we will survive ;)

Now, let me share with you a card I made with the new 

I created this cute card using Bless your Heart and Petite Floral Potpourri Dies.
Love how it turned out, kept it elegant and simple, also flat for easy mailing.
But, the you can dress it up more or keep it CAS,
possibilities are endless.

Details:
Die-cut Bless Your Heart in pink cardstock, the long back piece in white and Petite Floral Potpourri flowers in white cardstock, blend Distress Oxide on all flowers.
Adhere pieces and add it to a kraft card base.
Tie ribbon to left side.
Add pearls to flowers.
Card size: 4.5" x 7"

Impression Obsession June Release Team Favorite Hop!!

 


Welcome to the Impression Obsession June 2021 Release Team Favorites Hop!

The Impression Obsession Design Team are sharing  their favorite projects from this month's release today.

This release has beautiful birthday stamps and dies, but also dogs and florals.
I love florals! 

For this card I used 3 small stamps, 2 florals and the sentiment

Details:
Stamp Small Bloom 1 and Small Bloom 2 on white cardstock in Chocolate Ink.
Color images with markers, then add fine dots on petals and leaves.
Trim image (4 7/8" x  5 1/8"), using a circle die, die-cut lower right side.
Stamp Just for you Sentiment on pink cardstock.
Create frame using rectangle dies, adhere frame to floral panel.
Add foam adhesive to floral panel and adhere it to sentiment panel.
Add panel to a white card base.
Spray front card with Silver Glitter Dust.
Embellish card with white Nuvo drops.

Thinking of You

 

Hello friends!
Hope you are having a great day!
I have another card using the new Pressing Thoughts Stamps and Dies by Essentials by Ellen.

This is an easy card, with bright colors to cheer someone up!

Details:
Stamp pansies (x2) on watercolor paper in Black ink.
Color images with watercolors, here I used watercolor markers.
Splat white gouache on flowers.
Die-cut images with coordinated die.
Cut the stems from image.
Die-cut a panel with Crazy Stitched die.
Mist panel with yellow spray, stamp sentiment in Chocolate Ink.
Adhere flower to panel with foam adhesive.
Add panel to a pink card base.
Embellish card with clear sequins and Nuvo drops.

Essentials by Ellen June Release!!

 

Hello friends!
I am so excited to participate in this release, the new stamps and dies are adorable,
I know you will love them!
I have a couple of cards for you today using 

You are in my Thoughts
Details
Adhere pieces of color cardstock on white cardstock (great way to use your leftover cardstock)
Die-cut panel with Crazy Stitched Die.
add gold embossing powder and heat set.
Add few pearls around.
Adhere foam adhesive behind panel and adhere it to a kraft card base.

Details
Stamp pansies and leaves in Fog Ink and White Pigment Ink on a piece of Kraft cardstock.
Die-cut panel with Crazy Stitched Die.
Stamp pansies and leaves on watercolor paper in Black Ink, color images with watercolor markers, then die-cut pieces with Pressing Thoughts dies.
Glue together scallop pieces (I had these die-cut leftovers)
Stamp sentiment on a piece of vellum in Versamark Watermark, add white embossing powder and heat set.
Trim vellum panel and adhere yellow frame on top.
Adhere flowers on vellum piece with foam adhesive.
Add panel to a white card base.

Impression Obsession June Release Day 2

 


Welcome to the Impression Obsession June 2021 Release Celebration!

Each day (June 7th and 8th) you can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog.

Party Hat Birthday
Details
Die-cut Party Hat from patterned paper and blue and gold cardstock.
Stamp sentiment from Party Animal on hat bottom part of hat in Versamark Watermark Ink, add white embossing powder and heat set.
Die-cut Pinked Edge Frame in White cardstock.
Cut a panel from cardstock and add it to white card base with foam adhesive.
Adhere a blue cardstock piece behind frame, adhere it to card.
Adhere Hat to card frame
Add a couple of gold and blue cardstock stripes.
Finally, mist card with Silver Glitter Spray.





Have a Bee-utiful Day
So simple and beautiful!

Details:
Stamp Bee Collage on watercolor paper in Black Ink.
Color image with watercolors, trim image and blend Vintage Photo Ink on all edges.
Stamp Sentiment from Party Animal Set on ivory cardstock in Chocolate Ink, 
die-cut sentiment with Slimline Sentiment Flag set.

Impression Obsession June Release Day 1

Happy Birthday #4
I made this cute birthday card!
Details
Stamp Candle Glows images on a piece of white cardstock using different ink colors, also stamp a solid circle image in lighter color to create a contrast. Trim panel to 5" x 4.25"
Adhere panel to a white card base.
Die-cut number 4 from Big Numbers Die set a couple of times in white cardstock, glue numbers.
Die-cut Shaker Balloon in light blue cardstock 5 times, glue 4 of them, add the number, then adhere the clear layer and glue the last die-cut on top.
Die-cut balloon from Party Balloons and strings.
Die-cut banner in white cardstock, stamp Happy Birthday sentiment in Peacock Ink.
Add all elements to card base.

Stamp Life Together on Kraft cardstock in Versamark Watermark Ink, 
add white embossing powder and heat set.
Stamp Small Bloom 1 and Small Bloom 2 on white cardstock in Chocolate Ink,
Color images with markers, just tap tap the images with the marker, nothing fancy neither perfect coloring ;)
Fussy cut out images.
Stencil background, add sentiment and blooms with foam adhesive.
Embellish card with clear rhinestones.
