Sorry, I am late

Hello friends!! How are you doing today? I hope you are ready for a great weekend, for some a long one. I made this card the other day and lately I feel like I am late for everything, goodness!! Just hope after few relaxing days things come back to normal.

So, let me show you a super card I created using my favorite tool in the whole wide world, my MISTI!

OK, now info about this super cute card {wink, wink}
  •  After the image was colored, I die-cut it using Spellbinders die, I die-cut a couple of oval pieces from patterned paper, I wasn't sure what color was the best.
  •  I used a 6" square white card base. I cut a couple of panels from cardstock and patterned paper and added stitches. Now, here is a little tip: assemble your card layers on you MISTI, see the left bottom corner? yep, find the 1/4" mark from both sides and you will have a perfect aligned panel.
  •  And here it my card, I added few sequins and twine, I also added a little bit of stickles (Does anybody still use them? )

Hope you like it!
Have a fantastic day.

God bless America

Hello friends, how have you been? I've been busy, sick family members and tired!! Life is giving me too many lemons, so I am keeping making lemonade {wink, wink}
Anyway, today I am bringing you a very American card. When I saw these stamps from Technique Junkies, I knew I needed them for my 4th of July cards, this is one of a set I am making. Super easy and mail friendly.

Here are the details:
  •  After your blue watercolor piece has dried, cut a small piece of vellum and stitch it to the panel.
  •  Fussy cut the banners and add blue twine to connect them together. Stamp the "God bless America Pennant" sentiment on a piece of red cardstock, add thin gold adhesive tape and add it to card with foam adhesive. Add the panel to a A2 cad base.

Here is the card standing up. Very simple and elegant.

Hope you like it and give it a try. Remember you can buy these stamps using my code TJ10Giovana for a 10% off of you purchase!!

Have a fantastic day!!

Happy Birthday Latina Crafter

Hola hola!!

Mil bendiciones Diana y Latina Crafter!!

Psalm 96:11

Hello friends!! I am here today with a super cool technique, a way to stretch your supplies to the max, hehehe, this technique it's very easy, I promise. Recently, I got the new Nuvo Glitter markers and I have tried a couple images (I will show them later to you), but this time I tried combining them with embossing paste, check it out!!!

I have few pictures to show you the steps, so let's get started:
  • First, scribble the blue glitter marker from Nuvo Midnight Shadows on a piece of acetate and combine it with clear embossing paste.
  • Put together a piece of watercolor paper and stencil, here I used Diamond Fade Stencil and start applying the mix, add more glitter marker to the embossing paste to create a ombre effect.
  • After your paste mix is dried, you can see the glittery shimmer on your piece, it is beautiful!!
  • Stamp sentiment on a piece of vellum using your MISTI. The sentiment is from our new release "Psalms of the sea" set. Then stamp the wave, also from the same set.

And here it is the card all finished, I added few dew drops and ribbon. Easy and very elegant, the pictures really don't do justice.

Hope you like this project and give this super easy technique a try. Remember you can get the highlight products HERE, remember you can get the new release stamps with a 15% discount until today!!! You can add my discount code TJ10Giovana for a 10% off in other products.

Purple love

Hello friends! Happy Monday!! Hope you are starting a great week. I've been dealing with horrible allergies in the last week or so, so bad I was afraid to go outside, thank God things are better and my eyes are not too itchy anymore, but still taking the allergy pills so I can survive the pollen season ;)

Anyway, I have a couple of projects, lots f purple, I have to confess that purple is not my favorite, but the combo used here is really pretty.

Stamps and supplies are from Crafter's Companion, Both cards were colored with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens, images were stamped on Spectrum Noir Watercolor cardstock and in JetBlack Stazon Ink. The pretty shiny paper is the new Purple Mirror Cardstock (this was available at HSN)

This first card uses Floral Delight Set, to embellish the card I added pearls and stitches, very simple yet elegant.

This second card uses Flights of Fancy set, I also added stitches and sprinkle bits of blue sparkle marker.

Hope you like them

Today I am showcasing 5 new stamps, let me show them to you.

Project #1:
This project uses "Mermaid on Rock" and the sentiment "Wild Sea Air" I love this mermaid image, it's just perfect for the coming up Summer.
Details about this card. I stamped the image on White Premium Cardstock and colored it with Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers. I masked the image and created a template using a circle and waves, for the sun I sponged yellow ink and for the waves I used light blue and blue inks. I created a window frame using square dies and Coastal Pearl Shimmering Cardstock, added it to card base with foam tape. Stamped the sentiment in Light blue ink. Finally I added sea shell embellishments and cheese cloth underneath.
Card size is 6" x 6"

Here it's a front view of the card.

Project #2:
This project uses "Fireworks" and the sentiment "Like Fireworks"
For this project I stamped the "Fireworks" image on a piece of watercolor paper in Versamark Watermark Ink and White embossing powder., then applied Stormy Sky, Broken China, Faded Jeans and Mustard Seed Distress Inks, after that I added Spectrum Noir Sparkle (gold and blue) to the firework centers and lines. Then, I stamped the sentiment on a piece of gold vellum in JetBlack Stazon Ink and cut it in half, positioning half on the front and the other half inside. I added stitches around the panels.
Card size is A2.
