Carte Postale frame tutorial

Hello friends! Happy Friday to you all!! Today I have a simple tutorial, I started a project and on the way I made several mistakes and this tutorial was born {wink, wink}

Directions:
Step 1: Gather all your materials and get ready to stamp.

Step 2: Stamp "Carte Postale" image on a piece of Ultra Smooth Premium White cardstock in Versamark Watermark ink.

Step 3: Cover image with Light Blue Embossing Powder and heat set.

Step 4: Apply a smooth coat of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

Step 5: Apply a second coat using Broken China Distress Ink.

Step 6: Finally apply Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Step 7: Your piece now looks like this, you can apply as little or as much ink as you want. TIP: I leave the stamped area a little bit lighter of Vintage Photo Ink.

Step 8: Stamp the border around the edges in Blue Hawaii StazOn and the other two images in Spiced Chai StazOn Midi Ink.

TIP: You can use this piece in a card, but also you can decorate your room with beautiful frame. I got this pretty frame at my local Goodwill for only 0.99 cents!!

Here is the final project:

Hope you like it and give it a try.
Have a fantastic day!

Psalm 1:3

Hello friends!! Happy Wednesday to you all. It's hump day and I hope the whatever bug I got goes away soon, no time for me to get sick(er).
Anyway, back to my card, this week is a CAS one for Word Art Wednesday, but pretty {wink, wink}. I didn't add too many embellishments, I used the flowers from Altenew Painted Flowers, here are the details.
  • Make a card base from Curious Metallic Nude Cardstock (lovely color) A2 size.
  • Cut a piece of Vellum paper 4" x 5.25", score all sides and adhere it to card base.
  • Print Bible verse and die-cut piece, stamp flowers and leaves. Die-cut a scallop border in Coastal Pearl and adhere it behind the verse.
  • Adhere Bible verse to card with foam adhesive.
  • Add pearls to corners and a bow.

Hope you like it.
Have a fantastic day!!

Orchids and Hibiscus!!

Hello friends! Hope your day is great. Last week, Crafter's Companion launch new Sheena Douglas stamps, part of the A Little Bit Sketchy Collection.

I have 2 card for you today using 2 of the new sets.

For this first card I used "Orchids" set, I made a stepper card. I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Markers: HB1, HB2, HB3, LV1, CT1, LG2, LG3, DG1, then die-cut the image with the square from Elegant Stamping Frame Die set. Then I added the image to a big die-cut in purple using the same die set.
For the sentiment I die-cut it using Just the Tickets Die set, added a bow and the card was finished.

For this second card I used the "Tropical Nectar" set. The images were colored with Spectrum Noir markers :

  • Hibiscus: CR2, CR3, CR4, CR5, CR6. CR7, CG2, CG3, DG2
  • Hummingbird: IG1, BG1, BG2, BT3, TB2, TB4, CG3.
Then I cut out the images and added them to a panel made from Pink Pearl Shimmering Cardstock and Gold Dust Shimmering Cardstock and a Kraft card base. Added a couple of patterned paper strips. Finally die-cut the sentiment with Just the Tickets set and added pearls to all corners.

Hope you like them!
Have a great day!

Our friendship is a treasure.

Hello friends!! Happy Monday to you all!! Today, I am sharing with you a card I made using Latina Crafter's April Sketch. You can participate too, you don't need to use LC on your projects, just follow the sketch and/or the twist.

And this is the card I created. I wanted a simple yet elegant style. For this card I used the February Kit. Here are the details:

  • Make card base from white cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut a panel from Coastal Shimmering Cardstock and a piece of patterned paper (from the kit). Add stitches and adhere it to card base.
  • Die-cut a polaroid in Pearl Pink Shimmering cardstock. Adhere it to card.
  • Stamp sentiment on a piece of patterned paper (from the kit), die-cut and ink all edges. Adhere it on top of the white ticket. Add them to card with foam adhesive.
  • Add flowers, rhinestones, ribbon and button.

Act 17:27

Hello friends!! Sorry for being MIA. I tried hard to write blog posts in advance but I just have been so very busy.
Anyway, today, I want to share a card I made for Word Art Wednesday Challenge. I am GD there and this is the verse for this week, remember the challenge is "Anything goes", you can grab the Bible verse from the blog challenge or use anything you have.

After the verse got printed, I die-cut it and then stamped a flower on opposite corners in Golden Delicata Ink. The flower is from Altenew.
This time I wanted a color card base and this is gray, the color is beautiful! You can find it at CutCardStock.
For details I added a white doily and a piece of patterned paper and the card was done!!

Hope you like it!
Have an amazing day!
