Every new beginning...

Hello friends! Happy Sunday to all of you. Today I have a very special card for you, let me tell you a little bit about it first. One day like today, 27 years ago, my mom went to live with The Lord. I was just a kid (13 y.o) and my world crumbled into thousand pieces. Hard to explain with words the feeling, it is nothing that I can describe with words. I miss her every day, I remember many things about her, her voice was beautiful and her laugh would make anybody laugh, no matter what! She was so kind, friendly, funny, and many more things, and she was my MOM!! The best ever!

I cherish every single moment lived with her, with the years the Lord has given me peace, she lives in a perfect world with no pain, no suffering now. She was 46 years old, goodness, then I thought she was kind of old, I am getting close to be 41 in few weeks and I don't feel that old "yet". ;)

Anyways, I made this card to honor my mom, the saying is beautiful:

"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end. Seneca"

I used New Beginning set and dies from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and the sketch come from Reverse Confetti.

Have a happy Sunday!
Hugs your kids, tell them you love them, no matter how little or big they are.

Hello friends! Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is doing something a little bit different and special this month, DT Favorites!! This month the DT has chosen their favorite sets and not only that, you can purchase them with a 20% off discount until Thursday, October 10th!!

I have to confess I have a lot of favorites, but today I am featuring "Kindness" set and coordinated dies. I created 3 cards for you, and actually for the last one I used remaining pieces from the first 2 cards! A bonus one :)

Let me show you my cards.

Card #1. This card is super elegant, I really love how it turned out. I created a super glittery flower, super easy and the result is great! you can check out the tutorial HERE, in this case I used Vesuvius Microfine Glitter and Memento Luxe Love Letter Ink. The swirl pearls are from Zva Creative.

Card #2: For this card I stamped the flowers randomly, overlapping them in Versamark Ink, then added Clear Embossing powder and heat set. After that, I applied Acqua Dolce, Banana and Blood Orange Gelatos, sponged the colors until they get even and textured desired. After that I used the biggest die and die-cut the bottom corner and inked all the inside edges. I die-cut a small flower and stamped the sentiment in there. Added some ribbon and the panel to the card base with dimensionals.

Card 3#:  This card is the results of 1 glittery flower leftover from the 1st card and the die-cut flower from the second card. I mounted them and loved the look :) I stamped the sentiment on a piece of White Cardstock in Coastal cabana ink (Stampin' Up), added twine in different colors and clear rhinestones. The panel was added to a  Coastal cabana card base. Card done in no time :)

Heartfelt Creations October Release: Sweet Juliet Collection

We are pleased to introduce the Sweet Juliet Collection. This collection is inspired by the beauty of ancient rooms locked away and laden with antique treasures. These rooms are filled with yellow candlelight and dusty vases. Crinkly letters lay scattered around, turning crisp and fading more every day. A postcard lays covered in thick dust, forgotten in a dark corner. Wildflowers lay around, as crisp and crinkled as the beautiful wallpapers. Using these detailed floral and typographical stamps, complemented by black, gold and burgundy papers will enable you to create an outstanding classical creation.

Today I have 1 elegant and simple card, I think this would be perfect for a Wedding!!

Instructions:
  • Make card base from Cranberry Tart Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut a panel from White cardstock (5" x 3.75").
  • Cut a strip of Patterned Paper from  Antiquity Collection (0.5" x5"), adhere it to white panel.
  • Stamp image on White panel in Versamark Ink, add Gold embossing powder and heat set.

  • Add panel to card base with Scor-tape
