ReplyDeleteHi Everyone!! Hope you are all having a good week!! I have been busy getting my "Card Calendar" done for the new year of 2012. WOW, where did 2011 go!?!!?!My "Card Calendar"...I so lovingly have named is a calendar that I have right next to my craft desk. It helps me remember all those special days that I make my handmade cards for. I buy the biggest calendar I can find so I have plenty of writing space. So every December I go through a new calendar and make notations such as anniversaries, birthdays etc. How does everyone else remember their special days? Thanks so much Giovana for giving us cardmakers a ton of ideas by showing your examples. I have used more than one this year. Those hats are so beautiful. My dear mother-in-law who passed away 3 years ago taught me how to crochet. She could whip up a baby blanket in an afternoon!! Have a good year all!! Sandra ♥

ReplyDeleteThe Childhood memories these hats evoked....I remember as a young girl wearing hats just like these, my mother would every winter crochet a new hat to coordinate with the clothes that she would lovingly sew for us, it was magical to see her transform a piece of cloth and wool into something so loved. thanks for tickling out those cherished moments!
