Wedding Dove Pillow

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great Wednesday! Today I have something different to show you. I made Wedding Pillow and it was so much to work on this project. Before I started making card, I was a avid cross-stitch person. So for this project I decided to do some embroidery and here is the result.
Wedding Dove Pillow

Products used:
  • HCPC 3399 Wedding Dove Pre Cut Set.
  • 
Other Products:
  • Natural Jute twine Fabric (7" diameter).
  • Gold Embroidery floss.
  • White Seam Binding Ribbon.
  • White Lace.
  • Sewing machine.
  • Fabri-tac glue.


Directions.
  • Stamp image on Fabric twine in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Be sure you press hard so you can get a good impression.
  • Start embrodering your image. I did single and chain stitches.
  • After you are done with the stitches, cut your fabric piece about 7" circle diameter. Add stitches about 3/4 of piece, fill your pillow with fiberfill.
  • Stitch lace around pillow and add ribbon.

  • Die-cut a couple of pieces of Smoky Slate CS using Eyelet Circles Nestabilities Dies.
  • Die-cut a piece of Lemon Drop CS, ink all edges and adhere to card.
  • Die-cut and emboss a piece of Patterned Paper from the StampTV Kit using Circle Nestabilities Dies.
  • Cut a strip of Ocean Mist CS, emboss it using Swiss Dots folder, adhere it to PP piece and add stitches.
  • Stamp sentiment on PP in Black Soot Distress Ink.
  • Adhere flower ribbon and pearls.
  • Score one of the Eyelet circles (about 1"), add scor-tape and add front piece.

Hello my friends! Hope you all are having a great day. Are you enjoying your Summer? The weather here in Eastern WA is beautiful, finally feels like Summer, but my allergies are so bad I avoid going outside, bummer.

Anyway, today I have a Thank you card for you. StampTV is launching a brand new challenge "CASE the DT", this time we are casing AJ Otto. I personally love AJ's clean and simple designs, I got inspired by this card. You can see her wonderful gallery HERE. Hope you can play along with us too!

  • Make card base from White CS.
  • Mat Smokey Slate CS and Patterned Paper. Ink all edges of PP. Add stitches and add to card.
  • Cut a piece of Lemon Drop CS (4" x 2"), emboss piece using Seeing Dots embossing folder, ink all edges and adhere it to card.
  • Stamp saying from Versatile Verses Set on White CS in Black Soot Distress Ink. Stamp Oval frame in Faded Jeans Distress Ink. Die-cut and emboss piece using Oval Nestabilities Dies.

Stamp It Card Publication

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great day! Me, well not so much, my allergies are getting worse and worse every day, honestly I don't know what to do, the medicine makes me really drowsy and I spend time sleeping and with no much energy to anything else.
Anyway, I don't have a card for you today (kind of), but I want to show you the cards I have in July/August Stamp It Cards Magazine. I got 3 cards published there using Gina K. Designs and Heartfelt Creations Stamps.

Wedding Bell Card + Shoe Blog Hop

Hello my friends! It's time to showcase more Heartfelt Creations projects. This time I am showcasing a card using the new Bella Rose Wedding Pre-Cut Set and the new Decorative Lace Border Die


Wedding Bell Card:

Products Used:
  • HCPC 3398 Bella Rose Wedding Pre Cut Set
  • HCD 713 Decorative Lace Border Die
  • Eyelet Circle Nestabilities.
  • Circle Nestabilities

Other Products:
  • Cardstock: Blush Blossom (SU), Peach, Pink (LSS)
  • Paper: Butterfly Garden Collection (Pink Paislee)
  • Copic Markers: Y13, Y15, Y21, YR000, E21, YG95, V01, R02, 0
  • Accessories: Sewing machine, Sponges, Foam tape,  Pink Ribbon, Pearls, Star Dust Stickles.
  •  Directions:
  • Make card base from Pink Cardstock. 5.25" Square card.
  • Cut a piece of Blush Blossom CS (5" square). Cut a piece of Patterned Paper (4.75" square), ink all edges, add it to previous piece and add stitches.
  • Tie on ribbon and adhere it to card.
  • Die-cut HCD 713 Decorative Lace Border Diein Peach CS. Cut out bottom part and adhere it to card.
  • Die-cut a piece of Blush Blossom CS using Eyelet Circle Nestabilities, ink all edges.
  • Stamp Bell on White CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, color image with Copic Markers. Cut out  bottom part of image, die-cut rest of image using Circle Nestabilities. Adhereit to Eyelet Circle piece and adhere it to card.
  • Add Pearls and Stickles to image.

Now, let me show you the shoes I have created:

Baby Shoes: For this shoes I used the smallest flower dies from Posy Patch Dies. I stamped them on White CS in Worn Lipstick Distress Ink. I curled the petal up, added some Glitter and Bright Pink Rhinestone.
For the shoes I started them on White CS, I stamped the Rosebud Images in Versamark Ink and added Clear embossing powder, then I sponged Worn Lipstick Ink all over the template. I finished the shoe with a White flower brad and some Pink Ribbon.

Elegant Shoes: I have a second pair of shoes, you can find the template and instructions HERE. For these shoes I used Something Borrowed Patterned Paper by GCD Studios. The flowers are from Flora Grande 1 & 2 Sets. I stamped the flowers in London Fog CS and Ink. I added Silver Glitter to all the edges, I added a Gold Brad and adhere them to the shoe, I also added some pretty Lilac/blue ribbon.

Scrappy Saturday Challenge #60: Party time!!


Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great day! I am slowly getting better, I am suffering from severe allergy problems, first time EVER feeling this miserable, not fun at all, the medicine makes me drowsy, sometimes 3 naps a day, WHAT?!

Anyways, it is time for another fun Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge, this time the theme is Party Time!! Birthday cards, invitations, gifts, you get the idea :)

Remember, this challenge runs for 2 weeks during the Summer time :) My card was inspired by the Sketch from CPS.

Have a DINO-MITE Birthday! Perfect for a boy!!

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock.
  • Emboss a piece of Ocean Mist and Fresh Asparagus CS using Mesh Embossing folder. Adhere them to card.
  • Cut a couple of pieces of Jute Ribbon and adhere them to card.
  • Die-cut and emboss a couple of pieces of White CS using Rectangle Nestabilities. 
  • Stamp sentiment on biggest piece. Stencil smallest piece using Tumbled Glass and Peeled Paint Distres Ink.
  • Stamp images on White CS, color them with Copic Markers and cut them out. Adhere them to Die-cut piece.

Card recipe:
  • Cardstock: White, Ocean Mist, Fresh Asparagus (Gina K. Designs)
  • Stamps: Dino-mite (Gina K. Designs)
  • Ink: memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Tumbless Glass, Peeled Paint (Ranger Industries), Copic Markers.
  • Embellishments: Jute Ribbon (Gina K. Designs)

GKDT Blog Hop "Masculine Theme"

Hello my friends, members of Gina K.'s Design Team have come together to host a hop with cards and projects featuring a masculine theme.

So, for this blog hop I've made 2 cards.

Happy Father's Day: This card was one of the ones I taught last week to a group of friends from my church, they really liked it and it was perfect timing and no need to buy a card :)

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory CS.
  • Cut a piece of In The Navy CS: 3 11/16" x 4 15/16" . Adhere it to card.
  • Cut a piece of Ivory CS: 3.5" x 4.75".
  • Stamp Background from Timeless Textures Set in Tea Dye Distress Ink. Stamp the Lighthouse and birds in Walnut Stain Distress. Stamp the seagull in an extra piece of CS and cut it out. I stamped the BG image first and then the seagull to give it more texture.
  • Stamp sentiment in Faded Jeans Distress Ink.
  • Color the Lighthouse with Copic Markers: R27, R35.
  • Add a couple of brads. Adhere it to card.

Card recipe:
  • Cardstock: Ivory, In the Navy (Gina K. Designs)
  • Stamps: Timeless Textures,By The Sea  (Gina K. Designs)
  • Ink: Tea Dye, Walnut Stain, Faded Jeans (Ranger Industries)

Your Rock! This is the perfect card for a teenager who loves music! Anytime I see a drum, reminds me my dad. He used to have his own band and he was the drummer, fun times!!

Directions:
  • Make card base from Little Blue Boy CS.
  • Cut a piece of In the Navy CS: 3 11/16" x 4 15/16"
  • Cut a piece of Ivory CS: 3.5" x 4.75".
  • Start stamping a background. I used the Broken China Distress Ink direct on the cardstock. Then I stamped the drum in Walnut Stain Distress. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. The BG blocks were stamped in Antique Linen Distress. Finally, I stamped the music notes in Peeled Paint Distress.
  • Adhere Ivory piece on top of In the Navy piece, add stitches and adhere it to card.
  • Stamp a star , cut it out and adhere it to card.

Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: Little Blue Boy, In the Navy, Ivory (Gina K. Designs)
  • Stamps: Live Life Loud, star from Perfect Pennants.
  • Ink: Antique Linen, Broken China, Walnut Stain, Peeled Paint, Tea Dye (Ranger Industries)

Wedding Wish

Hello my friends, it is Wednesday and that means time to showcase some pretty Heartfelt Creations projects.
Today, I have a pretty Wedding card!! using new sets just released from the new Heartfelt Wedding Collection.
This card is simple yet elegant.

Wedding Wish Card

Directions:
  •  Make card base from Ivory Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut a piece of Ivory CS, stamp images from Bella Rosebud set in Watermark Ink, add Clear Embossing powder and heat it up.
  • Ink all edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink. Mat this piece with a slightly bigger piece of Gold CS. Tie on Ivory Ribbon. Adhere it to card base.
  • Stamp sentiment in Tea Dye Ink.
  • Stamp Rings in Watermark ink on Ivory Cardstock, add Gold Embossing powder and heat it up. Die-cut, emboss and stencil piece with Oval Nestabilities. Mat this piece with an Oval piece of Gold CS.
  • Adhere piece to card.
  • Add pearls.

Congrats!

Hello my friends! Happy Monday to you all! I have had a horrible weekend dealing with allergies, especially my eyes, I've never had anything like it, I am taking some allergy medicine, but it makes me so drowsy, yesterday I took 3 naps!!! So I am keeping the coffee and chocolate in so I can work on my projects, LOL.

Anyway, I have a really cute mini card for you today. I got inspired by the new Mix it up Monday Challenge over at "StampTV : Wear your White!!

Directions:
  • Die-cut 2 pieces of White CS using Label 3 Nestabilities. Emboss 1 piece (for your front). Also, create a window using Oval Nestabilities, emboss it as well.
  • Stamp images from Buds and Vases in opposite corners in Memento Tuxedo Black, color images with inks
  • Ink all edges.
  • Add pearls and ribbon to front of card.
  • Stamp sentiment inside and stamp image on right bottom corner in Antique Linen Ink.
  • Score back of you card, about 1", add Scor-tape and adhere it to front of your card.

Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: White (Gina K. Designs)
  • Stamps: Buds and Vases (Gina K. Designs)

Birthday Wishes

Hello my friends! Hope you are doing great! I am having a great day so far, I did some garden work, then I had a picnic with my daughter, we enjoyed looking at the clouds and make pictures with them, it was a lot of fun. Perfect weather today, after a couple of rainy days, today is sunny and warm!!

  • Die-cut Lace border and glue it to page.
  • Glue picture.
  • Die-cut Swirl leaves from Bella Rose Die in Ivory CS twice, adhere them around picture, glue leaves only.
  • Make flowers. Die-cut flowers in all sizes twice from Posy and Daisy Dies. Ink all edges and bend borders. Create flowers from biggest to smallest, secure them with a gold brad, add glitter to all edges. Adhere them to page.
  • Stamp sentiment from Wedding Sentiment set in Pearlescent Poppy In on Ivory CS. Die-cut, emboss and stencil it with Oval Nestabilities Dies. 
  • Die-cut and emboss a piece of Pink CS using Beaded Oval Dies. Mat this with Ivory piece and adhere it to page.
  • Add Thickers to page.

  • Stamp image and sentiment from HCPC 3401 Bella Rose Scroll Pre Cut Set  on Ivory Cardstock in Vintage Photo Distress Ink, Add Prismacolor Pencils around image and using Odorless mineral Spirits blend it. 
  • Stamp roses and bud from HCPC 3394 Classic Bella Rose Pre Cut Set on Ivory Cardstock in Vintage Photo Ink as well, ink all edges with Prismacolor Pencil and Ink. Adhere to Scroll image with foam tape.  Add Gold Stickles.
  • Add Scroll image to card using Foam tape.

Dream

Hello my friends! Can you believe it is already June?! Amazing! Pretty soon we will start watching Christmas stuff on TV, well my daughter started her list already, and now that she can write and read, her list is getting long and longer.

I just want to share something a little bit personal, I've been feeling under the weather. Why? I miss my family very much, I have 1 sister who lives in the States and then my whole family is in Peru. I haven't been able to go there in almost 6 years and although I talk to them often, it is not the same :( I hope soon I can say I am going to PERU!! and have the best time of my life, but for now, I will be here sharing with you my projects and my happiness with paper crafts.

I want to show you a card that I made for the Gina K. June Release on StampTV. The saying says a lot, pretty much how I feel today.

Dream card.

Directions:
  • Make card from Cranberry Tart CS.
  • Mat Ivory CS and Patterned Paper, add stitches and adhere it to card.
  • Stamp image from the new Elegant Elements Set in Pearl Poppy Ink. Die-cut and emboss image with Square Nestabilities. Add pearl in the center.
  • Die-cut a couple of tags from Fancy Tags Dies in Ivory CS. Cut them out and position them behind image. Adhere it to card with Foam tape.
  • Stamp sentiment, die-cut and emboss it with Fancy Tags Dies. Adhere it to card with foam tape. Add pearls in each corner.

This is my creation, I paper pieced the dress and apron. I used some retired Stampin' Up Paper. I colored the images with Copic markers, added some Green Rhinestones and Lilac Ribbon. I also added some Stickles around.
