Mothers & Daughters Creations Thursday Challenge

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great day. I am having a good one so far, just busy as always, trying to work out every day, LOL. So far I have lost 5 lb. maybe it is not a lot, but for me means a lot!!! You know, I have been having the same weight for lonnnggggg time and even though I tried everything I couldn't lose a ounce, a lot of frustration, now I am working out at home, I do "Zumba, Tae Bo and Biggest Loser Cardio Max. I am planning to start jogging after the weather changes, wish me luck :)

Anyway, back to my card. This week on
MDC challenge blog, our challenge was to use Lace Cardstock in some other way than just gluing it down. So I cut a piece of Lovebirds-Shawl Lace Cardstock to fit onto my piece of Daisy Bucket Merry Wishes Paper, then I added 3 different colors of Offray ribbon pastels: Yellow, Pink and Green. On the little holes I added some Clear Crystals by Zva. The image Small Daffodil was stamped twice and colored with colored pencils, markers and then 1 image was clear embossed and cut out.

Card Recipe:
Card Stock: Barely Banana, Pink Pirouette, White.
Paper: Merry Wishes by Daisy Bucket.

Ink: Black, Green for sponging.
Stamp: Small Daffodil by Serendipity.
Embellishments: Clear Crystals, Diamond Stickles, Offray Ribbon (yellow, pink and green).
Accessories: SU Dimensionals, Mini glue dots, Clear embossing powder, Watermark Pen, Embossing gun.

Hope you like it. Head over to MDC Challenge Blog to see the other DT member's creations and also to have the chance to win some great prizes too!!!
Have a great day!!!

  1. Your card is very pretty! I have never heard of lace cardstock before. I especially like the idea of stamping the daffodils, then stamping and cutting out another image to lay on top of the main card image! Very clever and it looks awesome.
