I am still here

Hello everyone!!! I haven't forgotten all of you. I have been very busy doing a lot of yard work. We moved into this house last year (1.5 acres), our first house, we built the house, but no yard or grass or anything, just dirt!!! get the picture??? Last summer we got some grass in the back yard, but the front was only rocks, dirt and WEEDS!!! We borrowed our neighbor's tractor so we managed to keep the area clean, well at least no too much weeds. Sadly this year they came back, LOL, so I decided to do as much as I could, I pulled weeds every single day, you can not believe how tired I was (still am). Every single day I tried to stamp, but I was so tired I couldn't. I promise to stamp this coming week, I think I need a break.

Also my DD was sick (or better say she still is), she wanted mommy only, runny nose and coughing have been bothering her, poor little girl, she is feeling better now, but only 75%, she asked today to go to bed and take a nap (she never does that, I sent her anyway). She slept for almost 2 hours, at least she is eating good, well she always eats good :)

Last Thursday we went to pick up blueberries. A couple from church owns the Naches blueberry farm : http://www.nachesblueberryfarm.com/ , Rebecca had a lot of fun, of course I forgot my camera {insert sad face} so maybe next time I will take pictures of her picking berries. We picked 10 1/2 pounds!! That's a lot for the 3 of us. I have 3 bags in the freezer. Blueberries for long time.
Tomorrow (Sunday 20th) is my 6th Wedding Anniversary, so in celebration of my Anniversary I decided to make a "Blueberry Pie", LOL. This is my first time baking a pie. I tried to keep the pie until tomorrow, but Rebecca really wanted to try a piece tonight, so I cut it. (Tomorrow I will show the Anniversary Card I made for DH)

Here some pictures of my pie, I am so proud of myself, LOL

My yummy Blueberry Pie

Becca wanting to eat a piece a yummy pie

Have a great and blessed night

I am back!!!!

Hello everyone!!! Did you miss me??? LOL. I want to start this post thanking everyone their good wishes. I have to tell my back is feeling a lot better, the bad headaches (I didn't mention before) are gone; I stopped drinking coffee and I am feeling much better, funny or not I change the decaf for regular and after that I was miserable, now I am taking a break for coffee, LOL, I hope soon I can start drinking my yummy coffee again.
I had a good time with DD, we spent a lot of time in the pool, we hit 100 F (and more), we had really hot days. Today we are going to be only in the upper 80s, still hot for me, but it's better.
On the other hand I spent all this week working outside, we moved into our new house last year, sad to say we don't have a yard, just some grass in the back, so I spent hours pulling weed, racking and getting dark LOL, well something I don't need, but I look really tan now.

Anyway, back to business. I created 3 cards to show today.

Mothers and Daughters Creation Challenge: I created this cute card, I think the pic is not good enough to show the beauty of this card (well my camera is not good,LOL) I made it for MDC Challenge. You have to check this page out. This card is 5 x5.
Sympathy Card: Dear husband asked for a Sympathy card, one of his co-workers loss her mom and I think this card is simple but elegant at the same time. The image is from DRS Designs
Mojo Monday 45: I used one of the Lockhart images images through the WRG. I used clear embossed powder, I really really like this card. For more info about Mojo challenges check here

I hope you like my cards and my come back to blogging.
I will appreciate your comments.

Have a great day

Taking a break

Hi everyone!!! I hope you all are doing fine. I decided to take a break for a week or two, summer is here and DD wants to play outside, swim and go bike, so I need to spend more time with her.
On the other hand I am helping with the crafts and arts for the VBS at church. I am developing new projects for the kids, so that is taking some of my time too.
In addition of that, I have a really hard pain in my neck and upper back, believe me hurts really bad. sooooo say that I need a break, LOL.
I hope you all come back in a week or two and start enjoying my new creations.

Have a great and blessed time
